And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Graduation was akin to when a hatchling would spread its wings and take flight, leaving its mother and embarking on an adventure of its own design. It was exciting to see another load of hatchlings begin their journey and Cyrus couldn’t wait to get some pictures. Armed with his favourite camera, his acid green quick-quotes-quill and his notebook, Cyrus entered the Great Hall of Hogwarts and inhaled, taking in the sweet smells of rising bread, cinnamon and a strong smell that could only be identified as the smell of home. He snapped a picture of the people inside the hall and looked around, searching for someone to talk to. His chocolate eyes danced around the room and spotted a small group of girls. He recognised the leader of the Order and smirked a little to himself. The three girls were happily chatting away and Cy took a picture. He looked at the screen and frowned a little before deleting it.

He approached the girls and tapped the one who had the golden dress on and tapped her on the shoulder. He smiled easily and tipped his hat to her. “Mind if I get a picture for the Quibbler, love?” He looked at the other two girls. “All three of ye’.” He smiled again, his eyes lighting up. “Maybe a few quotes too? Graduation is a pretty important thing.” He directed the last bit at the Lestrange girl. He idly wondered if dear Matthew was there. It would certainly be interesting to see the Minister again. Cy took a few steps back and adjusted the camera settings, ready to take the picture.

(OoC:I have a few reasons lol)
Matt entered the Hogwarts grounds from the large gates. He wouldn't sit, he would stand in the back. There would be no way that he'd sit with his old house. He made his way into the castle, it had been a long time. Matt was wearing a dark blue tuxedo and black loafers on his feet. He spotted Jess speaking with Majere but though best to leave it. He had an odd feeling about today, it was probably the fact that Sophia was graduating today. Then he just watched all the bickering thinking best to leave it all to them. Matt then spotted Sophia talking to Jess, he walked over to where they were sitting and nodded to Jess. "Hello Jess, James, Sophia," he said smiling at Sophia. "So, I hear you're graduating soon," he joked. "I forgot what day it was again Soph..." he continued. The feeling in the castle was tense, well it wouldn't be for long!

No one could deny that Emof’s disguises weren’t...imaginative. However, the extent that he went to make them believable was quite laughable really but convincing to anyone who wasn’t already aware and Narcissa was fighting to keep in the giggles bubbling in her chest as his/her voice went up in pitch. Narcissa managed an unladylike snort of laughter and raised her hand to cover her hand as she continued to fight back the giggles. She managed to swallow and compose herself as Ne’Os spoke again and she looked sympathetically at the boy masquerading as a woman. It was definitely something that she’d have to bring up in therapy when they were all caught and sent to Azkaban. “It is sad but a piece of paper telling the reader that so-in-so did this, that and something else and by doing so they managed to graduate from Hogwarts...it doesn’t mean a lot. You’ve had the better end to your education than they have. Those who cannot make it – who do not have a plan – will return to the school or do something safe like train to be a Healer. You watch and see.”

She gestured to the gaggle of girls next to Jess Potter and silently made them her prime example. Of course, she could hardly describe her own profession as adventurous. It consisted of merely living and occasionally showing up at the Wizengamot for a trial. She glanced at the ‘woman’ and smirked a little before replying simple with, “Necessity.”

Post by Khaat Lupin Fri Jun 25, 2010 9:32 pm

Khaat had no intention of missing the Hogwarts graduation. She knew some of the students who had completed their wizarding education and were being recognized for that today. Some of them felt like family to her.

It had been months since she'd been out much in public, and she had used her time well to recuperate from her illness and the birth of her daughter. She had lost the frail, underweight look, and had spent time regaining her strength, her well toned figure and was feeling much better. She had found a very elegant, slimly tailored silk dress in emerald green. She had taken extra time with her hair and makeup so that it was flawless. It was exactly the kind of look that Rob had loved to see her in, but sadly, those days were gone, and she found herself missing that today for a moment while she was dressing.

She walked into the Great Hall, quietly, and saw she knew almost everyone here. She saw the staff at their places at the table, including Vincent. He seemed to be in conversation, and she had no intention of interrupting. She gave him a smile and proceeded over to the Gryffindor table where she took a seat near Sophia. "Congratulations, Soph. I am so proud of you," she smiled. "Hello, Matt. "

Post by James William Wilson Fri Jun 25, 2010 9:34 pm

''No, no, thank you lad. I don't like ceremonies in general. This one is no difference. Too many people, to crowded. You enjoy your little tea-party and I'll just keep the chair warm.'', he said. ''Dear Headmaster, you remember where my place is. I am, and will be, a member of the staff and I have full right to state my opinion. Now, you should do your job and not quarrel with a shortsighted professor of DADA.'', he replied, taking another sip.

He took his wand and conjured a piece of paper. Writing something on it, he enchanted it and ordered it to fly to Narcissa, asking her to join him .

Ne'Os smiled at Narcissas unlady like laughter at his disguize he rolled his eyes and looked over at Jess and his little group "Sadly for them they dont realise their political ties is what will end them" he said knowing that the agreement the order had with the ministry was a cease fire at best. "I hope vincent moves this along soon you are the only one who knows i am on your side again considering the reason why i left your side and all" he said. His occlumency dropped just long enough for anyone looking at his mind could see his intentions of rejoining the death eaters was to take sandra's Position as head death eater.

[evidently]
------------------------------------

"You have the right to state your opinion," he agreed in a tired voice. Arguing with Wilson was useless, he would never listen. "But as a member of the staff I would expect you not to use that tone with your headmaster," he said curtly.

The hall was crowded now, with most of the fools and imbeciles who were graduating there now, there still seemed to be several more though, so Vincent decided to wait for half an hour or so (a day). He paid attention to most of the graduates that were there. A lot of order members, he noticed with a frown. He also saw Khaat there, talking to her fellow order member. Catching her eye, he gestured towards her to come to the table.

(Reason? Visting Hogwarts as she tries to determine if she wants a teaching job or not - hostly I don't know but yes, I would like a teaching position)

Rhea was at Hogwarts for the sole perpose of disiding whither or not she wnted to teach here. Hogwarts had always been her true home and it would be an honor to searve here. When she had come to the school however Rhea realized that it was not the correct date of her meeting and it was the date of the 7th years graduation. As Rhea had never been one to moss a party she jumped at the chance. It was lucky she and dressed up slightly for the interview so she did not look SO out of place.

As she entered the great hall where the graduation was taking place she noticed Cyrus Skeeter, writer for the Daily Prophet. Freowning she made her way towards him. They may not have been on good terms but Rhea needed to talk to him about her children staying at his home for part of summer break. Dispite her opinion of Cyrus their children still adored him.

''Greetings to all, but you will have to excuse me for a moment'', he said and backed away. He approached Julia from the back, observing her lovely yellow dress. He put his hands over her eyes, from behind. ''Lovely dress, Julia'', he said.
