''Thank you, professor. I do have a copy. But, as I have said, which you have obviously overheard, I do not want to enter your methodology of teaching. I know enough about that from professors Wilson and McCoy, both of them who do not use textbooks in class. They have a Lesson Plan, and they respect that, not the things written in the books. Proof of that are McCoy's self-transfiguration classes, sometimes described as to complex by the Ministry and the books, and Wilson's dark magic classes, which are not even addressed. They tend to prepare people for the future. Their goal is not learning, their goal is education. You have the same goal, but the way you treat that goal is paradoxal. We are wizards, people who can deal with magic. If I get out of a sticky situation using magic, that makes me a good wizard. But what do you want, you want us to behave like non-magical folk, Muggles, and to use our non-magical 'skills' to get out of sticky situations. I have nothing against Muggles and their culture, I have been educated with Muggle books and some of my closest friends are Muggles, but you want a wizard to behave like a Muggle in a situation which is much more practical for magic. Would you then ask a Muggle to perform my spell to get out, defining it as skill?'', he asked. ''As I have said, you do not have to return the points, 5 points cannot make a difference, not at this moment, but you should have some guidelines. The books you are using are guidelines, in a way, but what we do is what makes us, as you have said, great. If I know the quickest way to get out of a situation, does that make me less great then someone who battles with the situation 30 minutes longer? The books do not make a difference, skill does. But, that is the problem. I do not see why Sophia and I, who used a spell, who demonstrated magical skill in a magical situation, who have shown that we are capable of dealing with practical, dangerous situation and, finally, who have shown that we can put the things explained in the book to practice, why do the two of us get 5 points off for clearly demonstrating what you have just said you wanted from us?'', he asked, calmly.
