Sammy frowned, she really wanted to know who was on the hunt for him, she would have helped. But when he asked her if she knew him she wondered if she should tell him the truth. Technically she knew him, but then again technically she didn't. But she never was the kind of person to lie to someone, even if she just meet them. "Well, yeah, but kind of no. It's a long story." Sammy said hoping that he would be happy with that answer. She looked at the table while she talked.

Tristan saw that she was uncomfortable with the subject and he nodded. "What do you like to do for fun?" He asked not knowing what to say.

This confused Sammy most people would ask her, but he didn't. He was either ignoring the fact that she had alot of history, or he was just trying to be nice. So she went with the trying to be nice. So she went on to his next question. "Oh well I love to be with my bestfriend or be with my kids." Sammy said smiling at the memory.

Sammy smiled, when she mentioned her kids everyone always got confused. Either she was to young, or she couldn't handle school and kids and love life and all that, but most people would just ignor her when she said it. "Yep, three actually. One is 2, and the other two are twins soon to be 1. I love them dearly." Sammy told him, wondering about his life. "Do you have loved ones?" Sammy asked him wondering if she was being to personal.

Tristan smiled and said, "I only have a half sister left. I was an orphan as a child, my sister was killed by her foster parents...." He looked down at the table not looking up.

Sammy didn't know what to say to this, she only knew that he didn't like the subject, and he changed it for her so she would do that same for him. "You must have lots of friends with being an auror and all that." Sammy said more of a statement instead of a question.

"Not really. I have only one friend, i don't like many things the ministry does but i put up with it because i need the money and i help keep wanted wizards off the street." Tristan said looking at her leaning back in his chair slightly.

For some reason they keep coming up to depressing topics of conversation. Sammy took a drink from her glass, then changed the subject once again. "How long have you been working as an Auror?" Sammy asked him wondering where the conversation would take off from here.

"I've been an Auror since i graduated Hogwarts." Tristan said looking at her and smiled softly.
