Mariana suspected for the first time Colby wasn't paying too much attention.. "Right yeah that's what i meant.Now these guys next to horses closer to the center are called hunters. They can go in diagonal though only on black or only on white field.In the center are king and queen. Black queen stands on black field and white queen stands on the white field.They can move in any direction though they can't jump over other figures.King can only move one field right,left, forward,backward...so yeah that's basiclly it.When you want to move a figure just say for example pawn on A-4..Don't know if you caught anything?" she asked raising an eyebrow.

"so if i said Kight to C-4 the horse thing will move?" colby asked trying to make mariana think he was litioning when he was really just seairing at her the whole time

"Well yeah if that's the position he can move on from what i draw you on paper.." replied Mariana not sure if Colby was listening or not. "So if you caught it how about we try a little game huh?" she suggested wanting to test him.

Okay but i may suck a little." he said still looking at mariana. he really liked her but sadly knew she loved some one that would never be him. how could she like him the stupid emo bi with the annoying brother oh couldn't live with out haveing some one to wipe his butt for him

Mariana raised an eyebrow. Colby managed to make her laugh. "No one really cares about that anymore...But okay.." she said as she started picking white pawns out of the chess box.White pawns were first on the move.She started placing them on their places.

Colby tryed to help by placeing the black peices in the blaces wthere they goo but wasn't sure if he did it right. "umm is this right?" he asked Mairana looking unsure "black queen on the black space right?" which it was no where close to where it belonged

Mariana looked as Colby placed his figures.This would take too long.She drew her wand out of her robe and flicked with it making pieces go to its places on the board.Black queen moved to where she was supposed to stand by her king. "There that's better.Let's try a move. Pawn on E-4..she said as the pawn moves two fields forward. She waited for Colby to do his first move now.
