Welcome to Potter’s Army

Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Khaat Dent wrote:"Merci," Khaat smiled. She could see the strong resemblance between Gibbs and Rob. They were a lot alike. "Welcome to my family too, Gibbs," Khaat said, "This is my father's farm. We're glad you came. Tell us about yourself. Where are you from, what do you do? Let us get to know you. Are you, by chance, a coffee drinker? We've got some great coffee in the kitchen."

Gibbs laughed and grinned, "I live for coffee!" he said. "Actually I love just outside of Blackpool!, and I do not have a job..." he said still smiling at her. He then turned around, the Matt fellow had gotten up. "Alright, alright all done?" he asked walking up to them. "Nah, this is enough..." he said smacking the back of Matt's head.

That made Khaat laugh. She liked Gibbs already. "Come on. Lets go get some decent coffee and get to know each other a bit better." She led the way into the airy country farmhouse style kitchen and poured him some of her favorite french roast coffee. She took him to be a man that was no nonsense. No cream and sugar, no syrupy flavorings, just hot and black and strong. She poured it into one of the large stoneware mugs her mother had made because it kept the coffee steaming hot for hours. She handed it to him. "That might take the edge off," she said. "So when my daughter is born, does she call you Uncle Jethro, Uncle Gibbs, or just Gibbs?"

Gibbs followed her into the house with a smile. It was a very nice house, it smelled rather good as well. He took a seat at the table and took the coffee Khaat had given him. "Perfect!" he said. "No sugar or anything!" he said taking a sip. "Uncle Gibbs is fine.." he said. "I also don't mind Uncle Jethro..." he said taking another sip. "Is this french roast?" he asked placing it on the table.

"It certainly is," Khaat smiled. "You are a man of good taste. Nothing like a plain cup of good coffee. And a little less chaos. My fahter keeps after me to give up the french roast--until your niece is born. But he's just asking too much. Once a coffee addict, I 've decided its incurable. I cannot imagine starting a day without good coffee. Well, and several other times during the day too. My daughter is going to need french roast in her bottle. So, you tell me about you, and I'll return the favor."
