Relaxing by the lake

The fact that she could practically feel the heat rising off of Andrian's body wasn't typically a good thing. He was embarrassed from her asking him one thing and frankly, she couldn't see why. Ginevra wasn't rude- no, she was merley outspoken and truthful. Two people would have total different opinions on whether or not that was a good way to put it but really, it didn't matter. Being judged was something people could do all they wanted to this girl, she only cared about what one person thought. Passing this off casually, she decided to continue the conversation by answering Andrian's question first. It was better than letting it get awkward. "Normal. Stressful. Boring." using three words, she wasn't one to go into specifics, ever.

Jess grinned at the exchange between the two. "Thanks Andrian," Jess also said, as Gin had been right, not wearing a shirt, for the sake of not wearing a shirt just made things awkward. "So," He said, "What's everyone been up to this holidays?" He asked

Danny just sat there and said nothing. Normally he would be a chatterbox when all his friends would be together like this. Yet something didn't feel right. Almost an awkwardness that piecered[sp?] through everyone. Everytime he tried to open his mouth, the wind was greeted by silence. Finally something came out when Jess said something "Fine."

It was the second day of school, a weekend, and everyone was probably relaxing at the lake. It would be crowded with everyone there. Great. Darren preferred when the lake was empty, way more peaceful. As he approached the lake, he saw that it was obvious that it would not be peaceful. Almost everyone he knew was there, Danny, Andrian, Gin, Nikki and worst of all - Jess. Still, he was hardly going to stay inside on a day like this. He dropped his bag and sat down under a tree slightly away from the others.

Danny had sighed silently once more and began to twist his head left and right in boredom. He then noticed Darren just sitting there with his bag on the ground. Knowing things would go haywire, he just looked away and looked at the others.

Nikki shrugged and sighed. Life's fine..always hard but fine. I guess some days are better than others. Nikki replied. Her life wasn't awful but it wasn't perfect it was in the middle and sometimes a downer and sometimes an upper.

Seeing Darren approch, no one seemed to acknowledge him. This was no surprise to Ginevra, barley anyone got along with him other than her- though there 'getting along' wasn't exactly the same as everybody else's. Friendship had a whole new definiton when it came to the two of them, actually. Taking her wand in her hand very casually, she slipped it up her sleeve and waved it, aiming a levitation spell over towards Darren. She was planning to move him towards the rest of them, and if it had hit him she would be successful. Still not even looking at him, she was keeping it casual for her own amusement.

((I thought we were friends as students, just not as teacher/student pairing. Or do you hate me for going on holidays now?))
Jess looked up and saw Darren. He subtly sighed and rolled his eyes, standing up and walking over to him. "Hello Darren," he said with a smile, putting his hand out to see if he would shake his hand. "How were your holidays?" He asked
