Relaxing by the lake

amanda had wondered down to the lake she was wearing black shorts and aflowly yellow top with a few black and yellow pices of jewlry on. she had been board with class and trying to aboid colby with out leaveing the common room. the first year of school was staring to suck. she had no friends but a few enamys.
she sat close to the lake with her feet in the water watching the ripples in it. just relaxing by the lake

Andrew was excited. The weekend had come, and he was out of those nasty Hogwarts uniforms and into jeans and a red polo style shirt with a couple of wide white horizontal stripes. He had some really great new sneakers, He really wanted to break them in by climbing some really great trees. He raced down to the lake, after his housemates gave him directions, grabbing his backpack, full of candy from Honeydukes, and with his frog in one of the pockets.

He saw a girl there, one he'd never seen. Someone who looked his age. "Hey!" he called. "Whatcha doing here all by yourself? You wanna do something? Maybe have some fun?

"i was bored soi came here it was peacefull," amdand asaid to the guy who was talking to her "what do you have in minde as fun? she stood up and dusted her butt of pushing her hair which she had strighted that moring out of her face she felt she woud have to take off her flip flops for what this little boy would want to do it was probaly something like climbing trees

"I don't know. The water's probably too cold to swim. We could go take a walk or something. I know you're probably not into climbing trees, but they do have some really great trees here. And they have some really great rocks too. I like really unusual rocks. What do you like to do? I'm Andrew, by the way. Andrew Diamond. I'm pretty new here. I don't remember seeing you around. We must have different classes. And you're not a gryffindor. I'd remember that--for sure."

"Im Amanda," amdanda said "and your right about me not haveing any classes with you and not being in griffindor. but the climbing trees thing. where eals are you supose to have alone time? when you have an older brother like mine. and when your not wearing shoes its even better." she smiled at him.

"Cool!" he grinned. "Then, I have a chocolate frog that says I can climb higher than you can. You beat me, and its yours. . I have a ton of candy in my backpack. I need to find a way to live in Honeydukes, I think. Oh, and I have a pet frog in my backpack too. He's pretty cool too. He's just a little bitty green, pocket sized frog. He doesn't have a name. I've just been calling him Frog. Not very original, is it?"

"Tell me," he smiled, "I can't think of many things that are better than climbing trees. But I'm game. I just really want to have some fun. So I"m open to any suggestion you have."

Flying," she said "higher than the trees almost touching the sky. yeah not as pysical but just as fun. the wind in your face. its so peace full up there all you hear is the wind as you fly by well unless your at a quitage game. god i hate those things. they are so annoying. to much screaming."

"Flying? I've never been flying. You got a broom? That sounds like fun. My housemates told me where they keep the school brooms. I bet we could go get a couple. I don't have one yet, but I'm sure I can get one. Maybe you could teach me how to fly. You're right. That would be a lot better than climbing trees. " Andrew could not imagine how wonderful it would be to be soaring high above the trees. And the brooms were pretty much always available. He just needed to know how to use one.
