James knew that Jamie would be shocked about the commitment she thought he would make. It did not bother him. Well, maybe it bothered him a bit...

Jamie looked at him. She knew the only reason she was Ravenclaw was because she could "see" beond. She knew more than more wizards. "I don't want you to have to change for me" Jamie said quietly "you should be only you. You should not have to be anyone different just to be with me. its wrong. And anyway I like you enough to date you ven with your rulebreaking ways. Just be who you are"

James was going to say 'Date, hmmm?', but decided against it. "So, you are willing to date a boy called a prat, jerk, prankster, and troublemaker?" James raised one eyebrow, and cocked his head to the side a little bit to complete the gesture.

Jamie shrugged, blushing. SHe turned her head to the sideto try to hind the mask of red that covered her face. Then Jamie remembered that James could not see her face. "Maybe" she wispered. "just don't pull me down with you". She said this last in a voice than a head girl might use. Jamie puffed out her cheast and continued "I do have a reputation to protect you know".

"I am sure you do! I do as well." James grinned a goofy grin. There reputations were completaly different. She was Head Girl, and he was Head Prankster. Well, that was what he called himself. To others, he was "That Prat!"

Jamie gave a sort of a half shrug. "I guess" she muttered. Looking around Jamie realized how late it had gotten as they had sat there and talked. "God James" she cried looking at the night that was pure black becides the glowing moon. "What time is it?". Looking back at the castle she saw that there were only a few straggling couples left. One of them half ran by holding hands. They did not see Jamie or James. Leaning down the man kissed his date about 15 feet away. Then they ran off. "We are going to be in a hell lot of truble if we don't get back soon" Jamie wispered even though she knew it was not so. The kissing couple had un-nearved her. Without realizing it she had started to stand. Quickly she sat back down on the bench. There was no dought she liked James. Much more than she should.

"I guess it is late." James watched as the couple walked by; and Jamie look a little nervous. "Is everything alright?" James stroked her face. He looked up at the moon. Judging by the the height, it was close to midnight. How did he even know that!?

"No, I'm okay" Jamie murmered. As Jame's hand touched her face Jamie bought her fingers to his hand and held it by your face. Quickly she kissed it. Just as quickly she set the hand down on the bench. Jamie's expression was such that if you had not seen it you would never knew it would have happened.

OOC: Thanks! Just made it.. the image alone was BORING!

James smiled, and picked up Jamie's hand and kissed it back. "If you are uncomfortable, you can leave." James was offoring this option, but he knew that she would not. Or, at least he thught she would not...


OOC: I don't think I would call it boring...

Jamie's ongoing blush deepened even more. She wondered if it would ever go away. "I think I can make it" she wispered. Everything about James was so WRONG for Jamie but yet he was perfect at the same time.
