"I'm not keeping her," Varod said quietly. "I'm making sure she doesn't kill me."
He fell asleep again and Anti went to finish his watch. He dreamed of nothing but Christy. One dream he was his, they were getting married. The other he was relieving the punches he'd thrown.
Meanwhile, Anti was delved into HIS portion of Varod's mind. Why had all this happened?

Christy wasn't waking up for a while having hit her head pretty hard. There was already more bruises forming on her face from it. She didn't dream anything. She knew nothing of the fact that somehow Godric had managed to control her body for a moment either.

MEANWHILE...in Varod's newest dream...

Pant...pant...gasp...gasp...fall...splash...
"AH!!!" Varod shouted to the sky, blood running down his face as he bled to death staring into the now still pool of water. This was his destiny. To die.

BANG

Anti had fallen to the ground after accidentally going to Varod's side. The pain for him had been real.

Christabelle woke up with her head hurting even more than it had when she had woken up the first time. She fought against the restraints screaming for someone to let her go.

"Christy, calm down. I swear I will let you go just calm down," Varod said quietly, magically bonding her mouth. "Blink twice fast if you're ready to not blow my ear drums."
Anti attempted a grin when Varod said this.

Christy moved herself as far away from him as she could get and kept her eyes wide in fear of him. She didn't know what happened but she knew this pain was from him and it terrified her. She didn't even remember how she had gotten there.

"You're confused, I know. You barely remember any of it. We both um cracked and I beat the shit out of you...But I want you to understand I did NOT mean it. Please get that?" Varod begged. "I swear to you I didn't mean what I did. You can ask Anti. He saved you."
Anti nodded to this.
"I'll release you, but promise me you won't jump at me?"

Oh I'm going to make sure you end up dead. she thought into his head. She still couldn't talk still because of the magical gag. She didn't believe a word he said and would have been much happier if she could watch him drop dead on the floor right then. I hate you with the passion of a thousand burning suns.

"Yeah, I figured that. You don't have to believe me. You can check yourself, seer," Varod said and put a hand on her's, his eyes pleading and showing how much he DIDN'T mean it. "Nothing I've said in the past 48 hours except the get out and I'm gonna kill Oded have I meant. And yeah, I utterly despise you. But I still care about you."

Christy knew she couldn't recieve a vision on command and anyone with common sense knew that as well. She tried to jerk herself way from him but couldn't because of the restraints that she was screaming against with no noise coming out of her mouth. He didn't make any sense. How could you utterly despise someone and then still care about them?
