Oded smiled and kissed her back, "It was quite fun for me as well." He said as he ran his hand up and down her back softly.

"Mmmm, that feels nice." she replied closing her eyes. She let the sun hit her back and smiled at its warmth. Though it was growing late in the day and she knew they would have to return back soon. "How long til the sun goes down?" she asked opening her eyes and looking at him curiously.

"And how long will it take us to get back to your house?" she asked looking at him. She needed to tell him about her father. He was in the confederacy after all and anything dealing with a vampire would be something that he could know. Plus he had been friends with her father. "Um my father was murdered a few nights ago." she said just coming out with it.

"What? Uh about twenty minutes if we run full out with the horses." Oded said looking at her softly. "How was he murdered?" He felt like a piece of him was torn from his chest and he couldn't breathe. 'Murdered? How? Why?' He thought to himself softly.

"Vampire." she said quietly. She knew that had hurt him but he had a right to know after all. "Someone I was close to was turned and started working for the half breed resistance." she looked as if she was about to cry, "He was the only one who knew where we lived and the leader of the HBR was the one who killed him. He's in Azkaban right now."

Oded looked at her and pulled her into his arms and said, "I'm sorry Christy." He got up and then helped her to her feet. "Lets go back to the house and we can somewhere more private than here."

"Yeah." she said standing up rubbing her eyes, "I'll be fine." she said as if she were trying to fool even herself from such thoughts. She wasn't alright. Even she had been attacked by a vampire by the time she had the chance to tell Oded about what had happened. She still had several of the bite marks on her beautiful skin. She was grateful they wouldn't scar and would heal without problem.

She made her way over towards her horse and mounted it waiting on Oded to do the same. "I hope you won't need that stepping stool." she said remembering how large the horse was that he was riding.

Oded chuckled and grabbed a hold of the saddle and leaped up easily into the saddle. "I don't think i will need the stepping stool." He said grinning at her softly. "Let's go home."

Christy moved the horse into a light trot and started heading back in the direction they had come from. "I'm going the right way right?" she asked looking at him curiously as they headed down the path.
