What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

"No I havent ever met anyone from Durmstrang, though I have duelled Bellatrix Lestrange and the dark lord. I've also turned Matt Lestrange upside down on more than one occassion too. You dont need to worry about me, if you were. If you tell me his name I could have a word tonight in the common room? If thats what you want?" Nick was being deadly serious, he wasn't afraid of anyone, plus there was no reason why they had to end up fighting, her cousin and himself.

"No." she said looking at him, "I should fight my own battles." she replied, not knowing why she did she never had to fight before and really didn't want to start now. "I think I'll just leave it be for now anyways, he seems fairly distracted at the moment to worry about me."

Nick gazed at Christabelle for a minute as she rejected his offer of help, reminding him that she was not as frail as she appeared and that she could fight for herself. An independant woman it seemed, Nick liked that, making the fact that a muggle born was dating her even more annoying. A beauty like Christabelle should be dating someone of equal stature, someone like him. When people punched above their weight thing's did not last. This boy, whoever he was was a phase. Girls got rebellious in their teenage years, in time she would realise that the one she is dating is not for her. Teenage love was a difficult thing to come in between, and if Nick tried to ruin it for her she would just resent him for the rest of their school career. Better to just be friends and when thing's go wrong be there to pick up the pieces. A cunning plan indeed he thought, as cunning as a fox who had just been made proffesor of cunning at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Nick was a good Slytherin, as he had just proved to himself, he smiled at Christabelle "Your so brave, to be willing to fight your own cousin. There isn't a wizard in this castle that deserves you on his arm. But alas, I feel that you dont want to talk about relationship's. Im sure that rather annoying part of life has been weighing on your mind, the stress, the heartbreak, it doesn't make for fun conversation." Nick hastened to add "Of course Im here for you, if you ever need a shoulder to cry on or a body to take your frustration out on. I can be a good friend when I want to be. Troublesome and hard work but loyal nonetheless"

Nick motioned for Christabelle to take a seat, to take the weight of her feet. She looked a little down, not the girl he had charmed into this empty classroom at all. Had he had ulterior motives? Well yes but they were gone now. He would not knowingly cheat on a guy with his girlfriend it wasn't right, even if the person was a muggle born. Nick was an honourable person, such actions were distastefull. He sat on the table next to Christabelle and decided to enquire into her country of origin "So what is magic like where you are from? How do we Brits stack up to you German's? Do they have a speciality, I mean I know the French are pretty up on charm's and we are pretty impressive in the dark art's department." Nick listened to her answer intently, eager to hear about what it had been like to grow up in Germany. He had never visited the country before but seemingly it was very clean. He had read it somewhere in a muggle travel brochure when his parents went to book their France holiday. Whether it was true or not he did not know.

"Most schools in Germany are very liberal to say the least." She replied first, "Most there believe that the dark arts should be taught and are taught only in theory but not actual practice...Well practice thats known of anyway." She was oddly compelled by this boy who she knew had ulterior motives the second she met him. Had those motives changed? She was confused by this, but continued with what she was saying, "All in all I'd have to say that its the most impressive dark arts department I've ever seen."

She finally took a seat. She looked at him, "Don't worry." she said going back to what he had said before, "He and I aren't dating and I do seem to love attention." She smiled coyly at him now working her charms on him.

They were not allowed to practice the Dark Arts? That sucked. he thought to himself, that was probably the best part of the class. How could one effectively unleash spells if they hadn't practiced them before hand. Imagine that situtation, one on one with a Death Eater and you cant even cast Expelliarmus because it is your first time. A recipe for disaster if he did say so himself, still the German's made up for it with the beauty of their witches. As she took the seat next to him his eyes glanced up the length of her body, falling finally on her face. Their eyes met and he smiled a little, feeling his cheeks burn slightly. That hardly ever happened to him, wow he must be under some sort of spell. Nick didn't care though, he liked the feeling. He was indeed a bit of a flirt but he rarely got this feeling when speaking to girls. Nick could usually dangle and control his women at his will. It was like they were under some sort of Imperious Curse but this girl seemed immune. Or was she? Nick had been receiving mixed signals all night, she had seemed so impressed by his little tricks at the dinner table and she had jumped at the chance of being alone. Yet when they had got here she had dropped a bombshell. Thing's got crazier still, as she shifted closer to him and turned on the charm. Nick returned her smile with a cheeky grin. As he had always said, teenage years were for having fun and if she indeed WASN'T dating this muggle born, she was a free agent in his eyes.

It wasn't as if he had anyone special that he was cheating on. All those girls were just, friends. Christabelle was already so much more than them, there was something odd about her. Nick moved closer to her and replied smiling "Well, if you enjoy attention it would nasty of me to deny you." He looked away smiling, then returned his attention to her "And I happen to like attention myself. We are very alike, you and I. Your beautifull, Im, moderately good looking. Your smart and Im smart, your a pureblood and Im a pureblood. Your German and well, Im Scottish." He laughed clearly going to far but put it to the side, Christabelle seemed happy. Nick ran his hand through her hair, gazing into her eyes as he did so. He wanted to kiss her but felt that it was not his place. She was the one who was stringing along a muggle-born. If she wanted to be with Nick, tonight, or for more than tonight she would have to make the first big move. For now he was content to run his smooth hand's through her silky blonde hair.

"There is one difference then." she pointed out her voice sounding extremely sweet to him, "The fact that I'm German and you're Scottish." she giggled now having him exactly where she wanted him. She was never one to make a first move. That gave the other one the upper hand, but yet at the same time she wanted to.

"Just the one diffrence..." Nick smiled, his heart beating a little faster than it usually did. Could it be possible, that this Slytherin heart throb was nervous! It was inconceivable but true, usually he did not need to do any work to get kisses but he had really met his match here. He wanted to just lean in and plant his lips on hers but there were thing's stopping him. What of this muggle born? Who was he, and was he effectively cheating on him with his lady? Nick did not like the idea of that, he wouldn't like it if someone did that too him. Would he even see Christabelle after tonight he wondered? Or was he just a bit of fun in the Dark Art's classroom? Usually this is what Nick would have wanted, a little bit of fun on the side and nothing serious but he wasn't sure about this.

Nick had never been one for making the first move, he had always felt like that was the girl's job, but he would make an exception here. Nick bit his lip for a moment, his hand still running through her hair. She was so pretty and as he moved in slowly he could smell her perfume. The hairs on the back of his neck began to stand to attention. The tension was unbearable, how would she react? Would she meet him half way? Was he to go all the way in? He decided to take a risk, life was worth living and if she rejected him what did he have to loose? Most of the school would no doubt think the joke was on her. Nick's eyes closed and he leaned all the way, his lips meeting her lucious pink ones. But would she kiss back? It was too late to back out now....

Christabelle grinned on the inside now having him where she wanted him, knowing now that she had the upper hand so to speak. She pressed her lips back against his her arms wrapped around his neck. By the time she pulled back she was blushing slightly but it was all in her cheeks. She giggled a little, so he wasn't scared of making a move...or So it seemed.

Indeed Christabelle did have the upper hand now, his ego was lain out on the floor and he cared naught for it. This is where he wanted to be and if that was all he needed to do to ensure it he was happy to oblige. He was like putty in her hand's, just now she could have asked him to do anything and he would have jumped at the chance to do it. Nick felt her kiss back and he replied in the only way he knew how, with his lips. Her hand on the back of his neck, pulling him closer made him kiss more passionately. It had been everything Nick had imagined and more, Christabelle was an amazing kisser, no doubt she had had alot of practice, what with looks like hers. A wave of pride filled Nick as the two parted and he gazed into her eyes. She was by far the best looking girl he had ever met or kissed, one for the record book's for sure. Nick smiled at her, still a little shaky after the whole thing, a feeling he had never experienced.

The two stared at eachother for a moment before Nick broke the silence. It took him a few seconds to get his word's out "Your....amazing Christabelle." He breathed in deeply and continued, the only words that managed to escape his lips were "Simply....amazing."

"I'm amazing simply from a kiss?" she asked raising an eyebrow. She looked at him and her eyes met his and she glanced away for a second but then looked back looking up with her blue eyes through her long dark lashes. "So was that what you brought me here for?" she asked looking at him. "Just for a kiss?"
