Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Matthew grinned at the girl who let him into the compartment, nodding. "Thank you" said Matthew as he pulled the luggage behind him then walked into the compartment, rolling up his sleeve and heaved his luggage over the top of them and put it above the seat onto the selve. Before, turning to the girls in the room searching for a seat in the room and spotted a spot near Veronica so he walked over to her sitting beside her, looking at her with a warm smile. "I'm Matthew" said Matthew, nervously as he struck out a hand out to shake her hand.

Veronica bit the inside of her cheek as she recalled that she had kept a book in her trunk but now that her luggage was sitting in some compartment, she had nothing to read plus no snacks. She sighed heavily as she realized that she was going to have to talk to the others for the rest of the train ride or stare out of the window. She decided that the latter was suitable and moved her head to face the window. Veronica did not really get the chance to stare out of the window as the boy sat down beside her.

No matter how beautiful the scenery was, talking to someone was much more fun. Her lips curved into a small smile at his nervous tone. "Nice to meet you, Matthew. I'm Veronica."

"A pleasure to meet you" Matthew replied, shaking her hand firmly then slowly dropped his hand as he looked at her. He bit the bottom of his lips and looked down as he face started to heat up red, embrassed at his poor attempt of introducing himself to her, because he had never been around a girl before and this was his first so he was starting to feel nervous and worst of all sweaty as well. All of a sudden there was a sudden silence in between them as he looked away from her, glancing at her every few second.

Veronica couldn't help but smile at the adorable blush that had taken over his cheeks. She didn't see why he was so nervous at all. She didn't think she had ever met a guy who had blushed so much. He was after all, older than Veronica. Perhaps he felt out of place in the presence of younger people? But that didn't make any sense either, as the Aminia girl seemed like a seventh year to Veronica. She pushed these thoughts out of her mind as she noticed Matthew glancing every now and then at her. This only made her smile grow even wider and she turned away to stare out of the window.

"So, um.." Matthew started trying to break the awful silence as he looked around at the girls trying to thinks of anyway to start a converstation but all he could think of was school and debated wheather or not to talk about but couldn't fight the urge so he did it anyway. "Excited, about school" he asked them looking at each of them slowly but when he looked at Veronica again he stared at her more longer then most of the other girls, smiling at her.

Veronica rubbed her neck yet again as she leaned her forehead against the glass of the window, her eyes staring out at the orchards zooming past but not really taking in the vibrant colors. Her shoulders hunched as she sighed, missing her little brother Elliot very much. He would have brightened up the current situation by doing some of the silly things that babies did. She sat up straight again as Matthew spoke. "Um, Yeah. I guess." Veronica suddenly felt tired of doing nothing but smile. "Well, I'm going to go and change into my robes."

Veronica groaned as she realized that her robes were in her trunk and she mentally kicked herself. She Hmph'ed, suddenly feeling very grumpy.

Matthew read her expression and could tell that she was bored and grumpy at the same time was he really that boring and like one of his normal bad flaws he overreacted causing him to shoot up from his seat, hitting his head on the selves above him. "I can lea-Ow!" groaned Matt, rubbing his head sorely and could feel a short lump above his head, grumbling as he sat down.

Veronica jumped violently as Matthew stood up in one swift motion and flinched as he hit his head on the shelf above him. Under normal circumstances, Veronica would have flared up over his over reactive behavior but she really wasn't in the mood for picking a fight with a wizard 4 years more learned in the field of magical education, plus he didn't seem like that bad a person. She smiled sympathetically at him as he rubbed his head. "That must have hurt." She said, leaning over to see if he had gotten a lump.

Midway through, Veronica stopped herself and leaned back almost immediately, feeling that she was invading his personal space. "Well, I'm gonna go and try to find my trunk. Wanna give me a hand?" She said, in an off-hand manner but truthfully, she felt like an idiot asking him to help her. Veronica wasn't really one to ask for help but she was sure she'd collapse with boredom halfway through her task if she had no one to talk to. Veronica stood up as she awaited his answer.

Matthew looked at her and smiled innocentally at her as she leaned over to see if he had a gotten a lump on his head, staying still in his spot not moving at all wandering what she was doing but realized that she was just looking to see if he got a lump, sighing as she stopped herself and leaned back, stopping before she got too close to him. He looked at her when she asked him to help her get her stuff, slowly getting onto his feet to help her. "Sure" Matthew said politely as he helped her get her trunk from the shelf above them, feeling guilty about over reacting like that it was so rude and so uncalled for.

((LOL, am i boring you))

OOC: Lol, Of course not! I'm having fun xD. Oh and also, Veronica's trunk is not in that compartment! She's lost it

Veronica couldn't help but notice his innocent smile and rolled her eyes as the corners of her mouth twitched into an involuntary smile. She looked away as her cheeks turned slightly pink. Believe it or not, Veronica was quite glad when he agreed to her offer and she stood up almost immediately. She slid open the compartment door, giving Matthew a grateful smile as she stepped out and closed it after he had stepped out as well. "So! Where to begin?" Veronica said, as she enthusiastically rubbed her hands together.
