Chase stared at him fear in her eyes. They must have both had really bad dreams because he had just called out her name. She was breathing hard still. "What time is it?"She asked suddenly. Jumping out of the bed she ran to the door and peaked out. "Oh no!"She said staring at the clocks that had suddenly appeared all around the room. "It's noon!"She yelped and ran to him. "Get up Sterling we have to go!"

Sterling bolted up. "Noon?!" he cried. Part of him was frantic, the other part of him didn't care. He wanted to hold her forever... never leave the room. But he knew it was already suspicious enough. Both of them missing their first morning classes.

"Go to your next class." he said thinking quickly. "Say you overslept. I'll go to the hospital wing and say I was sick all morning..". hopefully nobody would draw the connection. A skiving snackbox appeared on the table. He kissed Chase one last time and chewed off the orange end, rushing to Hospital Wing.

Chase nodded frantically and grabbed a hairbrush that had just appeared. Pulling it through her hair so that it looked like it had been hastily done she ran to the common room and grabbed her bag. Running to her class she appeared in a flurry of paper and ink. "Sorry I'm late, I overslept." And the day went on as normal.

Sterling rushed to the hospital wing, puking the whole way. He had cast aside the purple end, not wanting it to be found and raise any suspicion. The nurse fixed it easily and told him he just needed to rest for the rest of the day. He did so, sleeping soundly as to catch up on what he'd missed.

Chase stumbled into the room of requirement. It was exactly as they had left it. The red bed in the middle, which quickly turned into a couch. She sat down on it heavily and sighed. It must have been three days since she had seen him. She had to catch up on her sleep, so even if they had been able to see each other. She would have fallen asleep again. She had seen him at school, but both times she had been flirting with one guy or another and couldn't even look back. She sighed and buried her face in her hands. She had said when making it that if some miracle he was around to let him in, guide him to if it necessary. Even if he was just walking past.

Sterling was strolling the seventh floor corridor, thinking of how he would plan another visit with Chase. The thoughts of the conversation he had just had with the Slytherin rolled around in his head. "I am not a Death Eater." he told himself firmly. he looked to his left and saw... a door. He opened it excitedly and there sat Chase, face in her hands. She didn't hear him enter. He stepped lightly and sneaked up behind her. He smiled and rubbed her shoulders, as she had once done for him... what seemed like an eternity ago in an empty classroom.

Chase jumped and spun around. "Sterling?"She whispered and then jumped up and into his arms. "It's been so long!"She said hugging him even though she was standing on the couch her arms slung around his neck. She buried her face in his neck. When he was gone all she could think about their times sitting together, talking. It wasn't all kissing like some of her other boyfriends seemed to think about. They actually talked. She gripped him harder afraid to let go.

"I'm here Chase." he said calmly. He didn't want to let her go. He pictured Chase's mother there, glaring at them. He squashed the image, imagining her being tortured for her ignorance. The thought made him smile.

"Tell me how your days were." Sterling told her, a tone of command he had never used before with anyone in his voice. All he had seen her doing was flirting with other boys. He imagined them too, being tortured, and smiled giddily at the thought.

Chase giggled softly. "They were terrible, guys kept asking me to the dance over and over and over."She said rolling her eyes and keeping a hold on him. She looked at him happily her eyes sparkling. "I just couldn't get you out of my mind!"She said looking at him. She moved so that he could sit next to her on the couch.

Sterling's heart leaped. She didn't think anything of the boys she was flirting with! She was being loyal... only doing it per his request. "Oh, Chase." he said softly, smiling at her. He sat next to her and interlaced his fingers in hers. He kissed her softly but didn't stay for long... he wanted to keep talking.
