Chase smiled at him her eyes locked with the beautiful sky blue eyes of this stranger. A stranger who she knew had a girlfriend, who she knew didn't like her at all. But she felt an odd longing. Then her mind skidded back to all the other men in her life. The confusion of friends. She smiled and turned back to the pot slowly. She kept her eyes down afraid to move, he was still leaning against her, holding her up and her cheeks went red.

Daniel quickly glanced away quietly looking at the microwave, letting go of her and then getting the potato from the microwave, pouring the water out of the bowl then putting the potatoes into the cream, flours and herbs mixing them together with his hands. There were many thing on his mind now, he wanted to be mature, have one girl, which girl he loved the most. This was crazy, it loved it but also annoyed at himself.

Chase watched him silently as he walked away and continued to get food ready for them to eat. She laughed slightly as her stomach growled and she gripped it with both arms. "Oh my, I guess it smells good!"She said attempting to get rid of the awkward silence they were having. She leaned against the counter again, and watched him silently. She grinned at him happily. "Are you ok?"She asked slowly. That seemed to be one of the most common things said that day. She grinned at him again hoping it would relieve the tension.

Daniel looked at her, as he turned off the oven and the stove stopping halting in his position. "I am, fine. Just thinking about something." Daniel told her, grinning back at her then pored the water out of the pot leaving the vegetable behind. He even out the potatoes on both plate with his food all crumbled up with flour and cream. He grabbed the chicken and lined them along the potatoes. "Do you ever get the feeling you love somebody, and you can't cause you don't want to be a player or already have a lover" he asked her, knowing this would make things awkward but wanted to know so badly.

Chase looked at him and felt a pang in her heart. "Actually yes."She said thinking of the two most important people in the world to her right now. Sterling and Thomas. But he was looking at her funny. And she felt like she had done something wrong. She smiled at him carefully. "What makes you ask?"She asked softly

Daniel laughed quietly, looking down at their plate. Then finally turning to get two cup from the cupboard and got some coca cola pouring it into two cup, then putting it back into the fridge, now getting his vanilla ice cream and put two scoops into them. "That is how i feel now." Daniel told her, his expression calm and reassuring. He carried her plate and drink in his hand, handing it over to her and waited for her to take it. "Why do you feel like that" he asked her putting it onto the bench beside her, leaning against the bench with her.

Chase took the food silently and stared at it for a second. "Well, things got very confusing."She said slowly. "I can't really go into detail, because if information on what I have done leaked out...my mom would lose her job."She said looking up at him her eyes wide. "But...it's really bad."She said shaking her head. "I don't know what to do."She said and then looked up at him. "Why do you feel like that?"She asked watching him carefully.

Daniel looked down, getting a small spoon and got a spoonful of ice cream from the cup and took a bite. He looked back up at her, he wandering whether or not he should tell her, if it was a mistake, give her the wrong idea, would people hate him ARGH! all these things ran through his head, Daniel walked over to her with his plate in his hand. "Some question are best answered when the time is right," he told her, smiling at her and gave her a kiss on the forehead then headed for his backyard, standing by the door. "Ladies first," he told her.

Chase looked a bit startled when he kissed her forehead and then smiled and slid out past him out into the backyard. She looked around for a minute and then turned around looking for him. It was so comfy, even if the pants were to big, and her shirt was hanging off of her. Her hair was a mess and she still looked sleepy. She smiled and looked around the backyard for a minute.

Daniel placed his plate and drink down, now lightening the candle then blew the fire off the match and threw it into the bin outside. He looked at her and got out her chair waiting for her to take it smiling his infectious smile at her, showing his even teeth at her.
