Mariana saw the embarassed look on Sterling's voice and just had a little sweet laugh. "Hey don't worry.I been just curious...and besides i know all prefects in all 4 houses so i'll tell them to give you a hand." she said cheerly when she saw some unknown face swooping in. "Hi Professor?" she asked questioning.Seems this was some new professor if it was a professor in the first place.

He laughed giddily with a sense of eccentricism in his voice. As he laughed the smile lines were heavily accented, the souvenirs of old age clinging to him stubbornly after death. "Hello child!" he greeted. "I'm going to be your Charms teacher next term! Won't that be wonderful?" he said in a high pitched voice. He noticed several students were staring at him with concern, several others with amusement, and some with utter bewilderment. He let the stares glance off of him... there was no pain after death.

Mariana looked rather hesistating.This new Professor looked pretty fun though in same time he looked a bit strange.Mariana couldn't explain the feeling though she decided to give Professor the welcome he deserves. "Well please to meet you sir.I am Mariana Diggory,Huffelpuff Prefect and Quiditch Captain!" Mariana said offering him a hand for a handshake.

Elv walked with her brother and sister to the platform 9 3/4. "It's okay... I'll go by myself. This is my 3rd years remember?" she said to her siblings. They're worry too much, since she is the youngest in the family. "It's 15 minutes left now... I'll find myself a comfortable compartment." she laughed and waved to her parents. "Byee... See you guys at Hogwarts..."

Sterling stumbled across the third year and smiled down at her. "Hello! Welcome back to Hogwarts!" he said warmly. He hadn't really met her before and really didn't know who she was, but that was no reason not to greet her. "How were your holidays?" he asked casually.
