Looking over at Sophia and Danny as they danced, Ginevra never knew how it always worked out well for Sophia, but some of the days she wished she was in her place in certain ways. Jumping slightly as Darren sat with her, she had been jumpy for the last few days. "Gonna attempt to be less snappy for no reason?" she asked, sighing. She knew she could be just as bad and she would usually put up with it anytime, but the dance was going to the acception, as there was always to much bad drama at dances.

"Sorry about that, I was acting like a prick," he said, shrugging. "Jealous I guess.." He trailed off, then decided to change the subject very quickly. "Did you come with anyone? Topher? Charlie? Freddy...?" he asked, smirking.

Nodding in agreement, she was a prick to him at times to so she didn't say anything more to it. Raising her eyebrow when he said he was jealous, she got distracted at the mention of Freddy's name. "No, none of them are here." she replied with a certian edge to his voice. Se never got what it was about Freddy that annoyed Darren but he seemed determind to get her to fall for Freddy instead of him half of the time. That would never happen, not in a million years.

Andrian glanced over at Ginervra and Darren for a minute listening to thier convostation for a bit then he just looked up and down at them then looked back at Sophia and Danny drinking his punch then moved onto the firewhiskey, "Go Sophia and Danny!" he called encourging them to dance as he smiled and cupped his mouth with one hand then held up a thumb at them drinking his firewhiskey and winked at them.

Glad he had distracted her, he shrugged and said "Oh well." He was mainly happy they werent here, he rather hated all of them, but a bit dissapointed. He knew him and Gin were never going to be a couple, never, so he always wanted her to fall for someone else.

Ginevra didn't ever care what Darren thought. If he said they wouldn't be a couple, so be it, but that didn't mean she would change her feelings for him or even try for that matter. She was stubborn and that was another way you could tell it wasn't going to happen. "They could show up later.." she told him, shrugging. "Doubt it though..." she whispered more to herself.

Darren frowned and said "Topher might come.." He used to like Topher, well before he found out Topher liked Gin. That just made him annoyed. "Where's Freddy? Disappeared again has he?"

If Ginevra could read Darren's thought she would not get them in the least bit. Darren wanted Ginevra to fall for someone who was not him (or so he said he did) but when a guy admitted to having feelings for her, well, that just wasn't something that he enjoyed. But she was clueless and confused when it came to his reasons for not liking any of her Ravenclaw friends that he used too and doubted she'd find outa anytime soon. Shaking her head, she hated how he was putting it. "No, he's gone away to visit his grandparents... he's coming back." she added, her voice more bold at the fact she hoped had not been a lie.
