Darren listened to her story silently, gritting his teeth and his hands curling to fists. So the Death Eaters were still looking for her, agh, he had never hated them more. "So you apparated to Hogsmeade?" he asked, as soon as she finished talking. "Don't you think they'll go check at Britney's house right after? The Ministry has track on squibs." He didn't like saying that, but it was the truth..

Making a face at Darren, she hit him again. "Look at that, you scared him off." she spoke up, annoyed at him now. "You're such an arse." Of course her anger wouldn't last long and she'd forgive him in a couple of seconds, but she had to just get it out there. Rolling her eyes, she had to remind him of everything. "She's not a squib, i'm a half-blood. She's just a normal muggle, as only pureblods can have squibs.. can't they?"starting to worry, she hadn't thought of that before. "DAMN." she screamed a bit to loud. "But why haven't they checked before then?" she asked now confused. "If they know she's my sister, ot's been long enough.."

Darren rolled his eyes, like he cared at this time! "Whatever," he muttered, shooting a dark look at Evan. Sighing, he had researched this topic quite thoroughly, he had practically read half the books in the Hogwarts Library during his 7 years here. "Your mothers a witch, so she is a squib," he said truthfully, he wasn't going to sugarcoat everything and just lie. "If your mothers a mudbl- i mean if she's a muggle-born then she's a normal muggle, but otherwise she's a squib."

(Evan sighed as Andrian looked like he was in a trance too.) Dammit he thought now I have to go over to Darren again. (reluctantly he got up and walked over to the two by the edge. He smiled brimly at Ginerva but mostly frwoned at darren. he knew that Darren was just another one of those people. Ones who didn't care who lived or died. And well...Evan didn't care)

Darren looked around while waiting for Gin's reply, and scowled as he spotted Evan. "Do you ever get tired of eavesdropping?" he asked, adressing him for the first time.

Ignoring the look Darren gave Evan she just knew she'd have to say something later on to him, tell him that Darren was like that to everyone except her, though she got it too, the only difference was she did it back so it looked different when people watched. Listening to him talk, she cussed under her breath again. "Mom's a pureblood." she spoke, staring ahead but not acutally seeing it. "How couldn've I put Britney in danger like this, i'm so dim!" she was starting to get angry, that was no question. "How could I think having her in a different house would matter. URG!" She was glad Darren was telling her this, it was better than leaving her thinking everything was fine and dandy. She attempted to smile back at Evan as he did to her, but it was hard. Keeping from hitting Darren again, she was glad his tone was a least resonable.

"Do you ever get tired of being a grade-A arse?" he asked trying to stay calm. (He didn't exactly care what he thought of him now. His sister had tought him how to be DGAF. Didn't exactly work anymore but he tried and it usually worked.)

Rolling his eyes, Evan was being no better than Darren now so she wasn't planning on sticking up for him when Darren said something rude. Sitting there, she kept her eyes on her feet, her feets curled really tightly in a fist.
