Darren rolled his eyes, then changed the cieling to water. Being good at Transfiguration was a huge advantage. The water hit the fiery floor and suddenly they were both engulfed in steam. Taking this as a distraction, Darren used a disilusion charm to hide himself.

Jess looked around, suddenly blinded, and then frowned. "Finite," he muttered, removing the steam, and revealing darren's location. "Tricky," He said to Darren before choosing a spell. "Riktusempra." he cast, deciding to go back to basics

Darren cursed then blocked the spell easily. "Serpensortia!" he yelled, summoning a snake. He waved his wand at it, putting on some shields that would protect it, then hissed at it in parseltongue. Jess was one of the few who knew he could do that.

Darren smiled, Jess was completely distracted by the snake. He raised his wand and muttered "Expelliarmus" He didnt really like that spell, but it was kind of his finisher. When he thought the duel was finished, he would simple use it to defeat his opponent in a non-violent way.

Jess discovered the snake's weakness, but decided he should move before he did. "With a quick jump he was up hanging from a candlestick, luckily avoiding Darren's expeliarmus. "Locomortor Snake!" he yelled, lefting the snake into the air, and throwing it onto Darren

Darren laughed as Jess jumped idiotically to avoid his spell but didn't see the snake fly towards him. It bit him, straight on the leg. Screaming, he made it stopped with parseltongue - wincing from the pain.

Taking advantage of Darren's distraction, Jess lunged forward and shouted, "Expelliarmus," Hoping it found it's mark.

Darrens wand flew out of his hand. Cursing, he had most probably lost, but he wasnt going to end it without a fight. He stood up and hissed at the snake to attack Jess again. It began to slither quickly in his directon
