Zoe sat wondering if she had done it right. The professor seemed to ignore her try at it. Did she do something wrong?

Davina felt rather smug at this. She guessed that Zoe had done something wrong and now the teacher had chosen her to do the spell instead. She got out of her seat and stepped next to the teacher, since she was sitting at the front of the class in the first place. Now she would show that she was the best. Not that she wasn't before. This would just push away any doubts anyone may have, she figured.

"Do you want me to disarm you or protect myself?" Davina asked Professor Valiteen. She didn't want to do the wrong one. That wouldn't give a very good impression of herself, she thought.

Zoe sat with her arms crossed. She rolled her eyes when Davina jumped up. Zoe had done just what the professor had asked. What was the deal?

Adaleen saw the look on Zoe's face, "Miss Weasley," She smiled, "You did everything just perfect, I just wanted to give other students a try." She turned her attention back to Davina. "I would like you to dis arm first."

Zoe nodded. At least she knew she had done it right. She felt a lot better now.

Davina was a bit annoyed. Zoe thought she did it perfectly. Davina could do it just as well. No, she could do it better than her. She knew she could. She was more able. She knew it.

Davina nodded at the teacher. "Ok, miss," she said, and turned to point her wand at her. She concentrated hard on disarming the teacher, then said "expelliarmus", a bit louder than intended. It came out as a bit of a yell actually. Never the less, it worked. She was very pleased with herself.

"Very good, next time, try not to yell, Now try the shielding charm," Adaleen lifted her wand, "expelliarmus" she muttered softly.

Davina was annoyed at herself. She made sure to keep her voice at a normal volume. She tended to get overenthusiastic a lot. She pointed her wand at the teacher once more, this time to defend herself. "Protego" she said, luckily in a normal tone. It did the job, as her wand remained firmly in her hand. She was ecstatic inside, although she just smiled slightly to the class. She knew she could do it. She had proven it.
