Ariella smiled, the name sounded interesting. She liked her name, it was just rare to hear someone named Lilyanya instead of Lily. The name seemed like a combination of the two names Lily and Anya. Ariella knows someone back home with the name Anya. She has always liked that name and wondered why her English teachers decided to give her the name Ariella. It's not that she doesn't like it, it's just Anya would have been nice, too.
"It's nice to meet you, too." The girl said in return. "We just tend to the wounded, like any other infirmary. Sometimes the students come in for the smallest things." She responded remembering one student coming in for a paper cut. She thought that was ludicrous but paper cuts do hurt. Ariella nodded affirming Lilyanya's assumption, "Yeah we do have some dead days here and there."
Ariella noticed that she pulled her hood down. Why was she doing that? The girl felt the heat of the sun's rays and looked out the window to see that the sun was slowly making it's ascent to the sky. She looked down at the floor appearing to be a little embarrassed about her compliment, "There are other people who have been here longer than me." She said still looking at her shoes. The night shift? Nothing happens at night... or at least I don't think so. The girl thought as Lilyanya mentioned that she wanted to work the night shifts.
"Of course," She said coming out of her thoughts. She heard her question, but all she remembered hearing was "grand tour". She was trying to figure out why this woman would want to work the night shift her first year here. "Well, as you can see this is where the patients sleep, if they need to stay overnight." The girl said gesturing to all of the beds that were in the room. She started making her way to the storage, which was towards the front of the hospital wing. "This is where we keep the potions, bandages, gauze fabrics, and everything we need to help students heal, or feel more comfortable." She said gesturing to all of the cabinets while she described what was in there.
