Meeting people I forgot

Chase looked around London silently. It hadn't changed the last she remembered. Just that the time of year was all wrong, the decorations different. She had missed a lot, and it was odd. So standing there staring she found an outside cafe and sat down under an umbrella. It was rainy out today, possibly not the BEST time for her to be outside. But she didn't care much, it wasn't raining right then and even if it was.. she liked the rain.

Chase tried to remember things.. But Sterling had done a very good memory charm. She couldn't remember anything beyond sitting beside the lake, hoping to tan, it was like it was all.. gone. What had once been a distant memory was now her last memory. Try as she might all she saw in her head was her sitting on the ground, and then.. she was opening her eyes up to look at Sterling and Danny hovering over her. The last few months completely gone.

She had been filled in of course. Disowned because she dated a Vampire. Living on her own with almost no money, she lived with Danny, her boyfriend, who she knew she loved. It was just kind of scary, knowing things happened, she had acted a certain way when she was.. normal? But it had gotten so bad she was so depressed she had her memory modified. She was happy.. that was for sure, but she hadn't been right before she had her memory wiped. She knew because she had tears falling down her face. Fresh ones, newly fallen ones and they were still falling when she woke up.

Imagine, one minute your perfectly happy laying beside the lake on a hot summer day trying to get a tan. You blink.. and you find out that whatever happened after that.. was turning point in your life and you don't know what it was! Whatever she had seen, heard, people she had met, things she had done. Things in history that had been revealed, it was all gone. All of it. And she was left trying to figure out what had happened. The Chase who had been felt like another person to her. Someone who had made the decision to go back in time.. to bring back an older Chase.. and disappear forever. It was a big decision, and she trusted herself that she had made the right choice. Ordering a tea she sat staring at the people passing her as a light drizzle started up.

Vinny was just strolling along London, she had nothing better to do. Then she saw a familiar face. "Chassy!" she yelled. She sat down next to her and giggled. "Big, big news. I've moved out!! Garulia Slithers was living alone, and we just became friends, and he said I could stay with him." she said. "It's not like you and Danny, though." she said, giggling. "So, whats up? I was thinking, we should try to find that pastry we had in Japan. It was so good, remember?" she asked her.

Turning Chase saw someone run up to her. She nodded slowly pretending like she knew her. "Erm... hey..." She said trying not to look impolite. "Japan really! I went there!" She said her eyes wide. She couldn't help it! This girl was telling her she went to Japan.. and had some sort of pastry there apparently. Grinning at the girl. "Apparently you know me, but I don't know you.." She said standing up and sticking her hand out to shake it. "I erm.. it's a story, but you see I can't remember anything from the last few months, so my entire summer was wiped from my brain! I don't remember you.. at all." She said blushing.

"Really sorry, why don't you tell me about our time in...Japan!" She said grinning at the girl. It was almost exciting learning about things she had done. Though it really felt like she had been put in someone else's body, even though it looked like herself. The Chase they had met was a different person then she was now. Almost literally, someone from the past.. brought back to the future, almost scary, but exciting all the same.

Sophia was walking through the streets of London holding a big black umbrella that was protecting her from the rain. As she was about to head into the small cafe to get some hot chocolate she stopped as she seen Chase and Virginia she smiled at them. "Hey Chassy and Vinny how are you two doing?"Sophia asked as she gave them a warm smile as she brushed her long dark brown curly hair out of her eyes. Sophia was wearing black jeans with a white shirt with a long black jacket with a black scarf with designs on it with black boots. As she took a seat beside Chase she gave her a big smile completely unaware she lost her memory.

"Hey Sophia." Vinny said. She turned back to Chase. "Erm, Chassy, are you ok?" she asked. How could she not remember Japan? Then she heard her say something about her memory being wiped. Oh no. "Oh, Chassy, I'm so sorry!" she said. Then she started over. "Well, I'm Virginia Vista, Ravenclaw, and was very good friends with you before you lost your memory." she said. She turned back to Sophia. "Sorry." she said, blushing. She had been ignoring her.

Another girl walked up and Chase felt a blush appear on her cheeks. She had NO IDEA who these people were! "Erm.. hello.." She said smiling at the two. She heard the girl named Virginia say hello to Sophia. "Hello Sophia.. I'm Chase." She said grinning at the two. "Sorry, I don't remember you! I got my memory wiped! And I can't remember anything from the past few months, so if you were my friends.. then hi! Sorry!" She said smiling at the two.

Chase smiled at the girl. "Whoa! So I finally learned to transform!?" She asked looking excited. "I've been trying for so hard... a fennec fox huh? Weird!" She giggled and looked at Sophia. "Best friends! I was wondering who my best friend was!" She said giggling. "Oh, and don't worry about me, I asked for it.. at least.. that's what I was told!" She giggled. "Sterling Silver did it because I was depressed or something.. and I wanted to go back to being happy! So.. something REALLY bad must have happened to me in the last few months, so bad that I had him wipe my memory!" She giggled happily and looked at them fondly.

Chase nodded slowly. "Wow.. a WHITE Fennec Fox.. those things are cuties!" She said giggling. "I'll have to try that out later, and it's awesome to meet you Best Friend!" She said giggling. "Weird how you get best friends in a few months, and then you don't remember them at all!" She said laughing as she rubbed the back of her neck.

Then she frowned. "I don't know what happened.. but whatever it was must have been really bad.. it's weird, cause I feel like I'm from the past.. and in more ways then one I really am! I feel like.. the girl who made the decision, even though it was me, I feel like they were a completely different person! They met all these people and did all these things!" She said nodding towards Virginia. "And I have no idea about them.. but it was me, I feel like.. I'm missing so much, but I meant for myself to never know what I missed.. because that's why I got my memory modified in the first place!" She said smiling.

"One second a memory to her which was so long ago.. a distant happy slash on her life.. on my life.. is suddenly the last memory I have! It still feels like the beginning of Summer to me, laying out on the lake, wanting a tan.. I don't know what happened after that.. but whatever did must have changed my life enough for her to choose that spot to forget for.. me to forget." She said shaking her head. "It'll all so confusing how it works!" She said smiling.
