His first meeting had gone fairly well, all things considered, so Keiran had gone to lunch to meet Millie, and they returned in time for the second meeting of the year. And of the day. They were due to meet a Hufflepuff, and from what Keiran understood, there had been some kind of issue with the marriage law. Whether she had been matched or not, Keiran was unsure, but he definitely could fathom the frustration and confusion she must have felt about the whole thing.
He pushed the door open and let Millie enter first, realizing that it would be quite awkward to have both of them attempt to sit behind the desk with the sixth year on the other side of the piece of furniture. That wouldn't do. He levitated the desk briefly, moving it against the wall, and transfigured the chairs that would've gone behind it into a couch. The other two chairs were also done into one, so that there were two couches perpendicular to each other.
"We can just leave those like that. This place really does need some life, though. I'll get a bit of greenery when we go out to Hogsmeade, yeah?" He offered conversationally, pulling out the list of meetings they had set up for the week, flipping past the first sheet about Kit, the girl he had talked to earlier, until it landed on Francesca, the one they would be talking to during this next one.
Keiran lowered himself to the couch, set his cane against the arm of it, and waited until Millie had settled before passing it over to her. Really, she knew more about the law than he did. But either way, their relationship was not at all what people thought it had been - even before his memory issues, apparently. What good were they when it came to dealing with these things?
