Must you be mean to my couch? I've spent a lot of time with him. Several late nights. And why bother with an early Christmas present? Just make it my wedding gift - you know I don't need anything, anyways. And no, I'm not telling you what you're getting.

Anxious, are we? We'll be in Greece in just two weeks, and then you'll have to put up with me all day every day for two weeks, and it will feel like ages for you.

But I won't - not until the middle of next week, I think. Dinner, soon?

*THREE WEEKS LATER, FIRST DAY AT WORK AFTER WEDDING/HONEYMOON*

I'm sure it has not escaped your notice, but this is the first day we've been apart for two weeks. It's only noon and I already wish I could still be off of work. I've had to correct several people on my name this morning. It's getting rather tiring; perhaps I should change it back?
