"I distracted you," Cecilia giggled in a child like way. "Why do you care for me after everything that I've made you go through? Why are you still around even though I've almost died three or four times? You've seen me at my worst yet your still here when everyone else is gone. Why is that?" her head was tilted to the side and there was confusion on her face. She couldn't understand why he would leave and come back.

"I'm still here because I care about you and your well-being." he answered. "I don't want you to be alone anymore. If everyone else is going to leave, I won't." he said. "And... I'm still here because... I love you." he added softly, looking down for a few moments. He didn't want Cecilia to be alone and vulnerable to anything bad happening to her again, just like before. Without her family to protect her, she was even more likely to be attacked again somehow. He wasn't going to let that happen.

"So what are we going to do about these feelings we have for each other?" Cecilia asked moving a bit closer to Jake her hand reaching up to touch his face. "Are we going to drive ourselves to the point of insanity being around each other trying to not offend Anali, so she doesn't think i'm trying to take you from her or replace her mother?" Cecilia didn't know what made her word it in such the way she did but still she said it she wondered. She didn't want Anali to feel like her mother was being replaced like Viktor replaced her own.

"I'll talk with Anali." Jake said, looking down and reaching out for Cecilia's hand. "I'm not going to hide what I feel for you." he told her softly, holding her hand in his. "Anali will have to get used it at one point or another. She never even saw her mother together with me. She was born and spent three years without a father because Amara didn't tell her she had a father." he added. "She'll just have to accept it." he said, leaning forward toward her a bit, stopping just a few inches away from her face.

"I love you Jake," Cecilia whispered "I always have," her head was tilted up as she looked up at him. "I should have told you sooner, back at Hogwarts before you graduated. I would have fought my parents for you. I never liked the idea of an arranged marriage, but i was going to give up just to get my fathers approval until everything that happened with Felix." Cec had moved slightly closer her lips brushing against Jake's as she spoke. "I was happy when Raphel's parents backed out of it because of Mollie's existance."

"I love you too Cecilia." Jake whispered back. "What happened in the past, is in the past. What matters is that we're here... together, now." he told her. He'd wanted it to be like this for a while, but with everything that had happened, it just wasn't possible. He put his hand on Cecilia's cheek and finally closed the gap between the two of them. He pressed his lips against hers and his other hand went down to her waist.

Cecilia's arms went up around Jake's neck. she clasped her hands sweetly returning the kiss he had placed on her lips. Braking the contact between their mouths Cec looked up and Jake. "Is this what you want? After all of these years and any girls you were with, am I what you want?" she wasn't fully prepared for what he could answer but it was something that had to be asked. She would never be able to live with herself if he felt he had to be here for her.

Jake almost laughed at what Cecilia said. "I haven't been with anyone else after you..." he told her. He wasn't just saying that either, he hadn't been with any other girl. Sure, he had friends but he hadn't had another girlfriend or anything since he met Cecilia. "I'm sure this is what I want. I want you Cecilia.." he told her softly. "I only want you..." he added softly.

Cecilia smiled laying her head on Jake's shoulder as she hugged him. He hadn't forgotten about her like she had thought, he hadn't hated her. She had to stop letting her brain run wild with crazy assumptions. "I'm glad Jake," She whispered a smile on her face. This was the first time she was truly happy since Mollies birth. She had someone who cared about her and wasn't trying to take her daughter away. No one was saying she was incapable of caring for her daughter, in fact he was saying she seemed to be a good mother. "So what's next?" she asked quietly

"I don't know." he responded. "I guess the next thing is getting Anali to accept this." he added. He didn't know how Anali would react. In fact he wasn't even sure if it was Cecilia she didn't like. Though she seemed to love Mollie he though that the one she might not like is the younger girl. Anali couldn't possibly be that jealous of Cecilia when she never even saw him with her mother. On the other hand, there was the possibility that she thought Mollie was going to replace her.
