So we meet again

"Sorry," Cecilia apologized turning towards Jake as she feed Mollie. "You were going to say something?" Cec carefully rocked back and forth as she cradled the baby in one arm and held the bottle with the other. "She had fallen asleep just after we bumped into each other and hadn't eaten since before she and I left the house." It wasn't long before Mollie was full and Cec laid the bottle down in the stroller gently patting Mollies lower back and rocking her back and forth.

"It's nothing." he told her softly, still watching her with Mollie. "Mollie has your surname right?" he asked her, wondering if she'd actually been allowed to give the child her last name, even though she probably did whether her family liked it or not. After all Mollie was a Krum, halfblood or not. Jake wished it had been easier to get his last name added to Anali's name now that she was with him. It had been quite a process but since he was her legal guardian and parent now, he'd been able to give her his last name.

"She doesn't have a last name." Cecilia said quietly her voice trailing off for a moment as she tried to figure out how to explain her decision. "I couldn't decide weather she should have mine or Nick's so I put her middle name as her last." with a sigh she looked down at her daughter who had fallen asleep once again in her mothers arms. "I guess I will have to have it changed one day and make a decision, but i have a few years before I have to worry about it to much." She looked up at Jake a slight smile on her face but new memories haunting her making her eyes look dull. "Who's name doe Anali bear?" she asked quietly

"Oh." Jake answered quietly to her response. "Well you are the one Mollie is around more. I think she should have your name. But she can also have Nick's name. She can have both. That way you don't really have to choose any name, just give her both." he told her. She asked who's name Anali had and he answered, "At first she only had her mother's name. I didn't know about her until recently, so she couldn't have my name. But now I was able to get my name added to hers. So she has both."

"I kind of like her not having either name. The Krum's to not accept either of us and Nick seems to want nothing to do with her when she is with me." Cecilia shrugged. This still wasn't the best subject with her after all that had happened. It was going to be had to explain it to Mollie when she got older either way. Carefully Cecilia placed Mollie back in the stroller trying not to wake her again. "Her mother didn't want you to know did she?" Cecilia asked quietly. "in the beginning Cec hadn't even know who Mollie's father really was. Everything that night had been a blur. She barely remembered seeing Jakes face before waking up in the Hospital clawing at her neck.

"And again, Nick sounds like anything but a good father." Jake commented. Whether or not Nick wanted anything to do with Cecilia shouldn't affect what happens with Mollie. Th ex-Gryffindor looked down slightly when Cecilia spoke. "No... She didn't. She thought it was best that I didn't know about Anali. She thought I wouldn't have cared for the girl and denied she was mine." he told her. "She didn't think Anali would be important to me." he added softly. Amara couldn't have been more wrong. Anali was his life now, and she would have been even before, if he'd known about her since the beginning.

"She thought you didn't want anything to do with her?" Cecilia spoke softly. "I don't want Nick to take her away." Cec said quietly. She wanted to feel Jake's arms around her once again. She wanted to feel safe and happy again, but she didn't know how. Jake helped slightly, maybe it was because of her feeling for him or maybe it was because of how he saved her. Maybe it was a combination of the too but she was happy he said he wouldn't be leaving her anytime soon.

"In a way I guess not." he said softly. "I guess she thought I wouldn't because at that time my career and graduating were the most important things to me." he told her. "But even though those things are important to me, I would've cared about my daughter more than anything else." he added softly. "Nick won't take Mollie away from you. I'll help you in any way to make sure of that." he reassured Cecilia, putting his hand on her shoulder.

"Who ever thought live would be this complicated?" Cecilia chuckled shaking her head. "Why can't things happen when they are suppose to?" She sighed and shook her head. "So what were you going to say before Mollie woke up? What all did you want to talk about?" she smiled up at Jake. she had to stop interrupting him if she wanted to know what he wanted to say. " i'll be quiet while you speak." she added pretending to zip her lips

"I don't know. But what matters is that we're able to get through whatever life throws at us." he answered Cecilia. She asked what he was going to say before Mollie woke up and Jake blinked a couple of times and looked around. "Hm..." he put his hand on his neck and shrugged. "I don't remember honestly." he told her softly. "I'll say if I remember but, I'm drawing a blank right now." he added.
