Robert felt the powerful surge on his energies when they lifted the car off Brian. He had been as prepared for it as anyone could be. He was grateful that Brian had passed out, and was equally grateful for the help in pulling him out from under the wreckage.
"He's out," Robert said. "Well done. Thank you, Jack and Steven." He began working very quickly to stabilize Brian. He could now see, and he saw that Brian had a broken right leg. The fracture had broken the skin and had torn through Brian's pant leg. It wasn't good, but in the scheme of things, it certainly could have been much worse.
He could feel Brian's bodily systems slowly coming into control, obeying Robert's commands. And to his surprise, he felt Brian waking again. Robert hadn't expected that for hours.
"No!" Brian exclaimed. "Don't go...You can't...."
"Gently," Robert soothed him, not surprised that Brian's systems were reacting to the horrid physical and mental trauma. "Gently, Son. I'm here. I'm right here." Brian reached up and grasped tight to Robert's arm, with an amazingly strong grip. "You're out. It's alright..."
"Khaat...Where's Khaat...." Brian began. Robert didn't have the heart to let Brian continue to be that upset. He laid his hand on Brian's forehead and sedated him very heavily. Once Brian was asleep, he finished stabilizing him.
"Jess!" Robert called. "He's stable. I want you and Jack to take him to St. Mungos. Set his leg and splint it until I get there. I'll want to double check the bone setting. Keep him sedated until his body settles a bit Its going to need a few hours. Keep a close eye on his vital signs until further notice because they could change very quickly if we're not watching. If he does alright for the next 8 hours or so, he'll be alright. I'm alright with not placing him in intensive care if we manage to not leave him alone. If you take charge of him, I'll bring Khaat in a moment.
"Steven and Cassidy, please go to the villa and gather up anything that belongs to Khaat and Brian. Their overnight in Morocco is over, I think. Make sure Michael doesn't get caught returning that car we borrowed. I'm not leaving anyone behind. Wipe the memories of any muggles that might see you and erase any trace we were ever here. This ministry isn't hostile but we have no official ally agreement with them either. Let's not muck anything up unnecessarily, huh?
"And, Jess, our best healers on Brian until he's out of the woods. Got it? This is exceptional and requires hands I can trust. Jack, go with Jess and stay with Brian. He isn't going to be himself for several hours yet, and its to be expected. I want familiar faces there for him. It will calm him quicker. He'll settle as the spells take effect and when he can see for himself that Khaat's alright.
"Any questions, anyone?" He asked. "Can you manage him, Jess?"
