Ability Desired: Occlumens
A Detailed History Behind Said Ability:
Jemma has been learning the art of occlumens from a young age, from her mother. Since she was a Seer, if someone else read her mind and saw glimpses of their own future, it could lead to disastrous consequences, so she was heavily encouraged to learn it. She didn't pick it up very easily, but her parents forced her to work on it, stressing it's importance, so she did work at it. By the time she reached Hogwarts, she could keep most people out, but they probably wouldn't be the ones that she needed to. It wasn't until she came of age at seventeen that she became truly able to block anyone reading her mind. She felt very happy once she had accomplished this, since it had been so hard for her. She practised fairly regularly to keep up her skills, as she couldn't afford for them to waiver. She had needed them too at various points in battles and such, and she had always been able to keep out evil.


Ability Desired: Seer
A Detailed History Behind Said Ability:
Jemma Tiquelle has been a Seer for as long as she can remember. Her mother was also a Seer, but Jemma is a more powerful Seer than her mother, even from a young age. When she was younger she'd get random flashes of the future, though didn't have much control over them. She flourished at Divination at Hogwarts, being the best in her year by far. She learned all traits of Divination and can predict the future in many ways, from reading crystal balls and tea leaves, as well as having prophecys made by her in the Department of Mysteries. She went back to teach Divination too, but only had a couple of true Seers pass through Hogwarts as she taught, which disheartened her.

Jemma has been able to control her visions for her adult life and has recently tried to not look far into the future. She's scared of what may be in it for her since she lost her focus in life, and has only been seeing bad things recently. She has always hated reading her friends and family, but recently it has been a lot worse, with negative visions trying to clog up her head whenever she let her guard down.

Ability Desired: Astral Projection
A Detailed History Behind Said Ability:
Jemma Tiquelle started astral projection at a younger age than most. It is a common ability which comes with being a Seer, which both her and her mother had. When she was younger her and her mother would astral project around the house together, which Jemma loved. She wasn't a natural at it like her mother was, but she practised and practised as she loved it so much. It felt so relaxing to leave her body and float around.

In Hogwarts she didn't get the chance to project much. She didn't like leaving her body alone, where anyone could walk in on it, and projecting around the room was no fun, she liked to wonder the stars and such. Jemma loved the stars, Astronomy had been her favourite subject next to Divination. Still, this meant whilst she studied and then taught at Hogwarts, she fell a bit out of practise. Recently though she's been getting back into it. Leaving her body in a locked apartment felt more safe, and it meant she could see London from above at night, which in her opinion was an amazing view. She wasn't as good as she should be yet, but she would work on it now, as much as she could.

A Detailed History Behind Said Ability: During Danny's beginning years in Hogwarts, many of his friends had gained the ability to turn into animals, something that always made him curious. He began learning how to transform in his third year, but was able to fully transform by the beginning of his fifth year. At that point, he never really used it again, but he knows it could be useful later on in his life.

Ability Desired: Metamorphagus
A Detailed History Behind Said Ability: When Cat was a small child, her moods were often very clear to people, as her hair and eyes would change to the color describing it. It wasn't often that Cat used her Metamorphagus powers, because her mother wod shriek at her and get upset. Her father, being a Metamorphagus, told her to always have fun with it and never listen to whoever told her otherwise. It was a gift that skipped to Cat, and her sister wasn't the one who gotten that particular gene. Cat rarely used the powers, just to have a little fun or spice up her looks. She was, and still is, very careful to use them.

Ability Desired: Telekenisis + Metamorphagus
A Detailed History Behind Said Ability:
Telekenisis:
Since Ryo was a young boy he's had the ability to move objects without touching them. When he was younger the ability only worked for him when he felt he was in danger or when he was very angry. He discovered he had this ability around the same time when he was bitten by his father although he kept it hidden until that day. When his father attacked him, he fought back by making objects fly at his father even though he wasn't exactly aware of what he was doing. Later on he found out that his mother had this ability, and his twin sister also had it.

Metamorphagus:
Depending on his moods and emotions, Ryo's found that his appearance changes. His eyes and hair change colors depending on how he feels. There have been some times, though very few when his appearance changes completely to someone else and no one knows that it's him. He usually keeps this from happening but when he was younger is happened more often than not. This ability came from his father and though he enjoys using it, when his emotions don't betray him, he tries his best to keep himself from using because it is his father's ability.

I'll accept these but remember, the older your student characters become, the more in control your characters should become in these sorts of manifestations of the metamorphagus abilities, and the less their emotions should come into play in what their professors would see as a lack of control of their abilities. These would be things that they would be learning to control in Hogwarts. Learning to control one's magic is one of the highest purposes of the school to begin with.

Ability Desired: Legilimens; Wandless Magic; Seer
A Detailed History Behind Said Ability:Edward's seers abilities are a genetically inherited trait through his mother's maternal line. They were known through the area for their abilities as seers. Edward had a huge hunger to learn all he could about divination in school so he eagerly pursued it. The legilimens and wandless magic skills were things that he learned in DADA in Hogwarts but also pursued on his own because of repeated 'breaking in's' to the restricted section and also because it was a very necessary skilll to keep him alive and functioning as a werewolf slayer. The ministry required him to have not only auror training but beyond so that he had some sort of a chance about killing and not being killed. They provided not only auror training but the advanced legilimens and wandless magic training.
