As they walked to the Room of Requirement, Hitame felt a slight tug at her hand from Naomi pulling on her to walk slower. She glanced down at her sister and noticed that she was trying to get her to walk slower so they would be young at the same pace with the boy. She hadn't even noticed that she was walking faster than she was used to. But there was really only one reason that she was walking this fast, besides the fact that she was trying to avoid having one of Naomi's friends come searcu for them. She didn't want any of the other Gryffindors making fun of her or something for being around a Slytherin so calmly. So she simply pulled her arm forward, ignoring her sister's pull to go slower.

Before she knew it, the three of them were at the Room of Requirement and Hitame stopped for a moment. She noticed Alex go in front of them to open the door to the room and she placed her hands on Naomi's eyes. "No peeking Nao." she smiled. Naomi nodded and put her hands out in front of her to feel where she was going. "You don't need to do that, I'm here to guide you in." she said softly. Naomi nodded again and her arms went down beside her. Hitame slowly led Naomi in and once they were in the middle of the room she took her hands off of her sister's eyes. "Surprise!!" everyone in the room yelled. "Happy birthday sis." Hitame smiled. Naomi covered her mouth from excitement and soon she hugged her sister happily. After she left to go with her friends and Hitame turned to face Alex.

"You might as well come in. Everyone's gonna notice you sooner or later." She said softly. Hitame immediately felt the eyes of Naomi's friend, Andrew, on her as she spoke to the boy. She was almost completely sure that the boy was going to ask who else came with them, but when she turned toward him, he had already broken preoccupied with Naomi. Good thing he had a crush on her, he would be distracted by her for a while. "Come on." she said, turning back to the boy and taking his hand to pull him into the room further.

Alex would stare at Hitame as she told him to walk in. He didn't want to destroy the mood, because people didn't like him. He would move his hair in front of his eyes, as to cover up his birthmark from everyone. " I prefer the background of his party " Of course his words seem to have no effect on her, as she pulled him farther into the room. As the people in the surrounding room, would stare at him like he didn't belong.

He felt many eyes on him, as they would begin to mutter about him. He looked at her hand, as she was grabbing his tightly still. He didn't even know why she was doing this, and would just stare at the other people. He would just smirk at them, as they would just stutter or look angry towards him now. Because they could guess that he was a slytherin with his sly smirk being it a trademark for most of the house.

He would just look over at Naomi, as she seemed to be really enjoying herself. He was glad for her that his recent act didn't dampen her mood. He began to grip her hand tighter, without even knowing it because he didn't like being stared at. He wasn't much of the center of attention type of person, and would begin to talk arrogantly again. " What do you all want, am I the only person that matters here. You should be playing attention to the birthday girl, you imbeciles " He said in a spiteful, and angered tone as the guy who was with Naomi would turns towards him with a pissed off expression on his face.

There was no doubt in Hitame's mind that everyone had seen her pull the boy into the room. She glanced around the room, looking at the angered faces of those inside the Room of Requirement. It also didn't help that she hadn't let go of his hand after she had pulled him in. The girl began to feel a discomfort she couldn't describe firm within the walls of the room, and she felt Alex's grip in her hand tighten. Hitame looked over at Naomi, who was trying to remain normal even though she also felt the discomfort in there.

Of course what the boy said to everyone didn't help the situation and Hitame found herself only sighing at his comment. Andrew seemed to be the one with the most discomfort and Hitame knew he had the right to he like that. He hated Slytherins more than even Hitame did, and his reason was that his younger brother was killed by one of the older Slytherins. Alex's comment about paying attention ti Naomi and calling them imbeciles made Andrew more angry than he already was at having a Slytherin there with them. He got up and took a step toward her and the boy. Hitame bit her lip not knowing what he was going to do or say. "Who invited you here?" was the first thing he asked. He said it in a pie hissing time that seemed similar to thw one Hitame had first used with Alex. "I did Andrew." Hitame said immediately.

Andrew glared at her for a moment before he turned around. "Fine. Just make sure he doesn't ruin this for Naomi." he said, and he short one last look at Hitame, saying we'll talk about this later, and he walked back toward Naomi. The two girls sighed simulantiously, and Hitame let go of Alex's hand finally. "That was close. I thought he was going to pick a fight. He must really like Naomi if he is willing to be in the same room with a Slytherin without fighting." she sighed and smiled at Andrew as she watched him talk happily with her little sister.

Alex would just roll his eyes at Andrew's comment, as everyone seemed to tense up. He didn't care what he said as he took offense to his words. He didn't like the look Andrew gave Hitame, and felt that she released his hand. He would instinctively cracking his knuckles as he was temper was rising, but he turned to Hitame. He didn't like the look in her eyes, and the words she spoke didn't seem to help him. " Look I think it was a bad idea for me to come here, I'm going to take a walk away from the party " Alex would just clenched his hand in a fist, as he brushed past Hitame arm lightly. Walking away from the party, as noone seemed to care at all. He needed to cool down, and didn't want to bust Andrew's nose either so this was the best course of action.

Hitame kept her arms by her sides as she looked at Naomi trying to keep Andrew calm and keeping him from looking back at Alex again. It seemed to be working as he looked like he was in some sort of trance while he talked with Naomi. She looked at Alex as he spoke to her about leaving the party. Again, Hitame found herself biting the inside of her lip and she let out a small frustrated sigh. Of course Andrew would be the one to ruin this. He is always working so hard to keep Naomi happy but he never realizes that most of the time he just makes her unhappy. Like right now even though she was trying not to show it, Hitame could tell that she was dad about Andrew making everyone more uncomfortable than they already were.

As he brushed past her, Hitame turned and watched as he began to leave. She followed behind him until they were out of the room. She reached out with both her hands and took his hand again. "Wait." she said softly. "Don't let Andrew's comments get to you." Hitame told him. "He can't help but act this way with Slytherins. One of the older students in your house, well... He killed Andrew's younger brother." she explained, hoping he would understand that this was the only way he could act with Slytherins after what they did to his brother. Hitame looked up at him through her bangs, her eyes having traces of tears in them.

Alex was pissed beyond reasons, as he strolled away from them. He didn't care if anyone was following him, until he felt someone grab his hand. He turned around to see Hitame was there, but it didn't help him. " What do you want " he said in a low and menacing tone as he listened to her explain. She told him that Andrew was just sad, and that he lost his brother to a slytherin. So he thinks that every slytherin deserves to be punished or stared at with hate. She was stilling looking down, as he started to rant. " You think that I deserve that, I try to be civil and I get that treatment. Everyone is the same with me, everywhere I go I get the same F*** treatment. I'm tired of all this, and I hate every damn second of it " He would punch the wall with his free hand, as he felt pain for a split second.

Alex would finally notice something that calmed his rage, for some reason. Hitame had been crying it seemed, and he felt something tug at his heart. He would by impulse move his free hand to her eyes and wiped any remaining tears from them. " Hitame why are you crying, you don't even know me. You shouldn't care if I get insulted or leave, you have better things going. Why is it that your crying for me? " He said the last part in a low tone as he was unsure of that as well.

The young girl felt him wipe the tears from her face and she felt herself gasp slightly. It wasn't an intentional gasp, it just happened as it so often did with Hitame. "I know you don't deserve this treatment. But you have to umderstand him. He's hurt by what happened to his brother, after all it only happened last year." she said softly. "I know he has no right to treat you that way, but he doesn't know what else to do. He just misses his brother." she added, thinking of how she would act if Naomi was killed by one of those kids in Slytherin. Hitame understood his hatred and anger toward them, but it was in a different way. She knew the feeling of hatred and anger as she felt that toward her parents and the Slytherins that wanted to become Death Eaters like they had.

When he asked why she cried for him, her eyes widened slightly as she looked up at him through her bangs. She didn't know why she was crying right now, it wasn't something she would normally do. Her grip on the hand she was holding tightened and she felt another fresh tear run down her cheek. "I... I'm crying... Because..." she gave a small crying gasp before she could continue. "Because I care..." another gasp interfered. "I care about.. you." she finished. That was not what she had meant to say, but she knew that she couldn't take it back now, so she wasn't going to try. In any case, that was true to some point...

Alex would just roll his eyes, as she spoke about Andrew and protected him. He didn't like it at all, yet she came here to tell him that. He could have done something to her, yet she came out for his sake to calm him down. It felt strange but he would only look down at the ground, with confusion on his face instead of anger. " Then he should just leave me alone, before I get angry with him " Alex was one to never get angry or else he would get them back indeed.

Alex would feel that she was gripping his hand tighter, and he wouldn't know why. She seemed to be crying again because of him, he felt really bad about it. He was usually the cause of most problems in people life's, and he guessed this was no exception. Then something hit him like a ton of bricks as he didn't think he heard her right. Did she just say that she cared about him, his eyes grew wide at the realization that she indeed say that.

So many emotions would run right through his body, as he felt like he couldn't breathe. Then it felt like something had taken control of him, as he moved his hand to her cheek. His other hand would entwine with her hand that was gripping him. He cuffed her cheek lightly as he bent over to stare into her eyes. " Please don't cry, it doesn't fit your beautiful face " Then before she could comment he took her lips with his own for a soft passionate kiss.

The girl only looked at him as he said that Andrew should just leave him alone and she nodded. "I know he should. But you have to understand him, his brother was killed!" she felt herself exclaim. "And there is also the fight between Gryffindor and Slytherin to keep in mind, he only does what he thinks is right." she told him a little softer. She knew that he wouldn't understand where Andrew was coming from, as only someone who had felt that kind if pain or was in the same position as he was would. Hitame couldn't stop Andrew's actions from happening and she also knew that if she tried to stop them, she would end up hurt.

Hitame felt his hand entwine with her as he placed his hand on her cheek and she felt herself gasp a little. Her chest began to tighten as she wasn't used to anyone doing this to her. Her eyes widened as she heard what he said and before she could even respond, Hitame felt his lips on hers. She immediately felt herself blush and her eyes widened more. She didn't know what to do, and for what seemed like forever she only stood there, not pulling away not, kissing him back. She merely stared at his eyes with a somewhat blank and frightened expression.

But soon, she felt herself push her lips against his, slowly as first and she kissed him back. Her free arm immediately went to his back and she closed her eyes. Hitame didn't know what she was feeling right now, there were just so many emotions running though her and she felt another tear sting her eye. But she refused to let it fall, and it was only just hanging from her closed eye, wanting to fall.

Alex would look into her eyes, as she seemed to frightened by him. He was going to stop his kiss and get away from her before she began to kiss him back. He felt really warm all over his body, as he would feel her arm move to his back. He would squeeze her hand lightly to confront her, as he deepened the kiss. He didn't know how long they were kissing but it felt like hours or even days. He would finally pulled away from kissing her, as he stared at her with his lust filled eyes.

He tried to calm himself down, as he was trying to control his breathing. He didn't know what to say at all, as he looked at her lips again. It seemed abit swollen from his kiss, but she looked quite beautiful. He didn't even knew what had gotten into him, to make him act out of control. Then he remembered what she said, as he would let it happen again. " You care about me huh? " He voiced in a low tone as it sounded like a question but with much confusion going through his eyes. One thing was for sure, he didn't regret kissing her for even a moment...
