Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

Alexis winced from the pain she felt as she watched him break the window further and get inside through he broken window. She quickly took his hand when he extended it toward her and she climbed into the Shrieking Shack. "Listen, I need you to stay down here, while I go upstairs for the transformation." she told him. "When I've transformed completely, I'll come back down." she added softly. Alexis looked outside through the window they entered, and she was the sun was barely grazing the horizion, in just a few seconds the sun would he gone completely and she would turn into a wolf.

At that moment a very intense pain ran through her and she knew it was time. "It's time..." she said softly, and she started heading upstairs quickly, holding her stomache as she went up as the pain now wouldn't subside at all.

Larko nodded as he pulled her gently through. The wind howled outside, and he wondered if a storm was starting up. At least it would set the mood for that run across the field to the Shack. He watched her as she went upstairs, and he leaned against one of the walls, twirling his wand absentmindedly in one hand as he tapped a foot to the beat of a song he'd heard at some point. His mind tended to be like Artemis Fowl, a book he'd read, where his mind was basically a big mp3 player. He could listen to whatever song he wanted in his head, even if he couldn't remember all the lyrics when it came out of his mouth.

Just as she made it to the upper level, Alexis felt her body stiffen and her breathing got more and more ragged. She immediately whimpered in pain and she dropped to her knees, the pain making her unable to stand up anymore. Alexis looked up at the moon through a broken window, she stared at it while her eyes changed color to a bright yellow. The light coming in from the moon through the window hit Alexis where she was and automatically the change began.

Her skin began to crawl and she began to hear the unpleasant sound of her bones cracking beneath it's surface. Hair began to sprout along her body and her nose elongated. Her body shuddered and she began to claw at the floor boards with her nails that were quickly growing into huge claws. With her nose lengthening and her knees beginning to bend awkwardly, she was in the half stages of her transformation. Her mind also began to change as she sat there on the floor growing in size slightly.

Alexis found herself looking around the room, as if searching for something or someone, and during the intense pain she felt, her body shifting, her bones continuing to crack, and her cries and screams slowly turning into whimpers and growls, her mind was steadily changing more into the wolves, but Alexis was still there. She was still in control, and she whimpered softly, a tail growing out of her tailbone, hair still sprouting, and finally one last whimper and it was silent.

Alexis lay on the floor, chest heaving, her paws hiding her muzzle beneath them. Chocolate colored hair covering her now perfect, beautiful wolf body. Why people thought werewolves were terrifying horrid creatures, she didn't know. They were in fact large beautiful creatures, much taller than ordinary wolves. Alexis slowly lifted herself up from the floor and she turning toward the stairs and began to slowly walk down them, the boards creaking with every step she took. Once at the lower level, Alexis immediately looked for Larko. Most of her body was hidden by the shadows that were lurking there, but her bright yellow eyes were very visible.

Larko waited a moment, then did a quick search of the interior. If they needed to get out fast, he wanted to know the layout. Ducking under a cobweb, he turned into a room with a bunch of old, dusty chairs and table. This, he decided, should be where they spent the night here.

Turning back, he quickly and internally mapped the layout before returning to the stairs. He couldn't see much of Alexis, just the eyes. And though they were a different color, he could still see a little bit of the young woman behind the lupine exterior. He smiled at her. "That you, Alexis?"

Alexis sat down on the floor near the stairs and quickly looked around the entire room, waiting for Larko to come back. Her tail wagged gently and roused some of the dust that lay on the floor. She gave a small sneeze and ran her paw over her face like she was cleaning her nose. Seeing that he was back, Alexis stood up and slowly stepped out of the shadows. She bobbed her head, as if she was nodding, when he asked if it was her and she walked closer to him, her tongue sticking out to help cool her off.

Panting softly, Alexis sat in front of him and looked up at him. She gave him a wolf-ish grin before standing up on her two hind legs and putting her front leg on him. "Yup, it's me." her lips weren't moving at all, but the words came out smoothly in Alexis' voice from the wolf the was staring at him. Her eyes were searching his, she wasn't sure what she was looking for or if she was even looking for anything. She lowered herself again and panted softly, her tail wagging excitedly.

Larko's eyes grew wide. "I didn't know werewolves could talk in wolf form! Since when did this happen? No one ever told me." Grinning, he gestured for her to follow and returned to the room he'd seen and plopped into one of the chairs after smacking it to get at least one layer of age-old dust off. He put a hand out and gently ran his hand along her spine. "I didn't know werewolves were so-" he searched for the right word for a moment "-magnificent."

Leaning back, he smiled at her. "So, what now? Just kinda sit and wait for daylight?"

Alexis gave a wolf-ish snicker and she grinned at Larko. "It's always been that way." she said. She followed close behind him as he led her to the other room. When he say down on one of the chairs after dusting it off, she walked closer to him and rested her head on his lap, looking up at him with her yellow eyes. Her eyes brightened when she usarse what he said about werewolves. She gently tilted her head to the side and she huffed. "That's because everyone judges us before they really get to know us." she said softly.

She looked down at the color for a minute and her tail stopped wagging momentarily. "I guess so. Unless there's something else you'd rather do while we wait." she told him. It didn't matter to her anyways, she was used to just waiting for the sun to rise, she did it all the time.

"But...it's physically impossible for you to talk," Larko said with a confused look. "Or at least with a different voice, due to the different shape of the mouth that's forming the sound waves coming from your vocal cords. But I don't know if they are different or not..."

He put a hand on the top of her head lightly. "Or, you know, I've just never seen one." Laughing, he said "I don't think there is anything. Let's just chillax together and talk. Is that okay? Or we could explore the place a bit more, unless you already know all about it?"

Not really knowing how to reply to what us said, Alexis blinked and started at him. "Are you sure you're a Gryffindor?" she asked him teasingly. "What you just said sounded like something a Ravenclaw would say, and I should know, after all I was one." she grinned up at him. He had sounded very knowledgeable with what he had just said.

When he placed his hand on her head, her ears flattened automatically and she pushed her head up on his hand. "Hm... Whatever you want to do. I already know a lot About this place, so I don't really need to explore it." she said thoughtfully. She pulled her head away from him for a moment when she yawned, and tuwn replaced it on his lap.

Larko nodded. "Definitely a Gryffy. Just a Gryffy who likes to actually know what he's aimlessly going on about for no apparent reason." Laughing, he ran his hand gently down the back of her lupine neck as he leaned back. "Ah well. It's not my fault I'm in Gryffindor. I'm not all that brave, just a smart-ass."

It was at this precise ironic time that a massive thump sounded from somewhere else in the place. He stood immediately and drew his wand. "What the super mecha death christ...?" he whispered. "Lumos!." His wand ignited and he gently edged toward the door.
