A New Day

"either way Elijah was right. he was no good." Cecilia said shrugging slightly she glanced over at hi. she was happy he didn't know much about her or her past decisions. she smiled to her self and looked out at the water "its really that if i try to tell you i am forced to stop by a spell that puts me to sleep.though you wouldn't want to hear anything about it. it doesn't seem like your thing. it should have never been mine." she wished she could take the bracelet off but she still had to go back.

"Well, it was only one guy, I'm assuming." he said, scratching his head. "Well, even if that spell put you to sleep I'm sure someone would wake you up. Most likely your brother." he told her. "And you're right I don't really like hearing about things like that. But I have to hear about it anyways." he said, before he came to Hogwarts he had a muggle friend who had made some really bad desicions that screwed her life up bad. No one would help her so she had come to Jake for help, he didn't know what to do but he helped her. He knew this wasn't the exact same thing as that time, but it seemed close to it.

"yes only one.. the first and last." Cecilia said looking over at him. as he said he thought Eli would wake her up Cecilia couldn't help but laugh. "He may not want me dead right now but he sure as hell wouldn't' mind if i wasn't awake to bug him," She said, "He and I just lost someone I didn't know very well, but she had a big role in our lives. He doesn't want to lose me right now too, but he doesn't want me around to annoy him." she cocked her head to the side a little. "do you have any siblings like Elijah? One's you just want to piss off all the time or they annoy you?" she had blurted out her thoughts and quickly covered her mouth. "sorry that's none of my business." she said quietly.

"It's okay, I'm fine with telling you." he told her, then he thought about her question. "Hm, well I only have one sister, Mayleen, and she's younger than me so I can't do anything to her. But she really annoys me all the time." he said. She gets away with everything and if she does something wrong, all the blame gets put on me." he added, sighing. Mayleen was always a pain, but he loved her. Technically he had to love her, she was his sister after all.

But even if she wasn't he was sure he would still love her the same way he does now. But she did annoy him that's for sure but he would do anything for her. That reminded him of what she said about Elijah. Even if she did annoy Elijah, he wouldnhave to wake her up like a brother would, no brother would leave his sister sleeping because of a spell/

"that's probably how Elijah felt before he ran away from home. he move out had kids and i hardly ever see him any more."Cecilia said looking around the lake. there didn't seem to be any one else out there for such a nice day. she wondered where Eli was and what he was doing. the twirled the ends of her hair around her finger as she watched the rippling water smiling as the wind picked up then ends of her hair she tried to keep her hair from blowing in the wind and giggled at herself as she fell over sideways.

"Right, I heard something about one of his kids, with what was her name?" he said. After thinking about the name, he finally remembered it. "I think her name was Chasity Moor..?" he said almost asking if he was correct. He felt the breeze pick up and he looked over at Cecilia, watching her hair get blown by the wind. He smiled and thought about what a beautiful day it was, and why no one was out there. He doubted anyone wanted to be cooped up in the castle on such a beautiful day.

He almost jumped up and moved closer to Cecilia as she fell, extending his arm to catch her. It was only a reflex and he hadn't really thought about doing anything, he just did it. Trying to keep her from hitting her head on the ground, he asked her, "Are you alright?" in a soft voice her hardly ever used.

"Chasity Moore?" Cecilia asked "do you mean the red head he went to the yule ball with?" she spoke in a whisper as she looked up at him and node slightly "yeah I'm fine," she said wondering why he caught her but didn't ask her questions out loud. she just looked up at him with a blank stare. this was the closet she had been to a guy besides Elijah in forever and she didn't know what to say or do. after a while she started to giggle at her self to be stupid. why was she so afraid of a guy so harmless. she knew the old saying about something about you can't win unless you get back in the game but she was to scared to get back in the game.

"Yeah, her." he said, still holding her in his arms. He put her down on the ground slowly and gently before saying, "Okay, good.. at least you didn't get hurt." He heard her begin to giggle adn he laughed softly. "What's so funny?" he asked, wondering what she was laughing at. He sat back down next to her and looked at the lake. He sighed as he noticed that the sun was beginning to set. He couldn't believe he had been out there almost all day without one interuption from his friends. That was definately a first for them. He laughed again and continued to look at the lake.

"I'm just a stupid Ravenclaw," Cecilia said, "I'm laughing at my self because for a minute i was really really scared of you. then i realized there is no reason for me to be scared or you. your not going to hurt me. at least not perously, you didn't even let me hurt my self when i fell over while trying to keep my hair from getting all tangled up by the wind." she was rambling and giggling at the same time and she couldn't stop her self this brought her to laugh even harder and double over after he sat her down on the ground.

"You aren't stupid. Not to me." he smiled. If anything he was the stupid one there. He didn't even attend his classes most of the time. "You're right. I wouldn't hurt you, not for anything." he said softly. He woulsn't hurt anyone, even if they did something to him. If they didn't mean it that is. But if someone had hurt him or someone he cared about purposely, then he would hurt someone. But he wouldn't hurt someone like Cecilia, not ever. He watched her laugh and just smiled. He didn't want to say anything else, so he just went back to staring at the lake once again.
