Cassidy looked at Clay and smiled " Im happy to hear you say that Clay , it means a lot and yea what ver and how ever long it takes our child will not be born for the want of money, i ran away from home and lived on the streets from the age of six he did nothing in finding me when he did he beat me half to death that is not a man i want anything from, Robert Lupin has been more of a father to me " she looke dat Clay and smiled then ,loke dat the soliciter " put it ina trust fund for out first born " she said " boy or not " it was then she felt her stomach turn." Im sorry I haven't been well these last few mornings " she said holding her stomach.

" I understand the bathrooms that way if you need ..." he didn't finish as she dove to the door and into the bathroom to throw up . He smiled at her " delecate stomach, its normal for new mothers " he sid and smiled at Clay " my wife was the same with our first " he said and smiled .

Clayton watched cassidy run out of the room wanting to fallow her but didn't know if he should. the lawyer spoke then. "we aren't sure yet. after we are done here she has an appointment at St. Mungo's," he said quietly. he looked at the man but keep glancing at the door. he was on edge the whole time cassidy was gone. "maybe i should go cheek on her," he said standing up to walk about the door. "you know see if she is okay." he walked toward the door and opened it.

Cassidy heard the door open and looked in the mirror at Clay " somethings not ...right Clay" she sid holding her stomach " let just go " she said wiping her mouth and fushing her cheeks flushed slightly as she moved to him and rested against his chest " lets get to that healer I'll feel better after that " she said moving back into the room " thank you but I have said my peice , now I have another apointment" she said and moved to the door opening it to the feel of cool air from out side and she sighed.


crossing the alley she pused open another door one to a healers , the rerceptionist smiled and just nodded " miss Mitchell , shes expecting you " she said and waved her into a clean examination room she held Clay tighter " I never liked doctors or healers , jess dark heart is one and so is Khaat and kate but there diferant " she took a deep breath as a woman walked in.

"Okay," He whispered holding her close to him. he was silent as the walked from the bathroom the the office then out the door and to the healers. he keep close to cassidy not sure what he'd do if anything happened to her. he held her close as they waited for the healer. "you'll be fine," he murmured in her ear, "i won't let her do anything to hurt you." he was trying to sooth her. a woman walked in and he let cassidy lean against him for support again. he kissed her on the fore head as he held her in his arms. his chin resting on her head.

the woman walked over and patted the bed slowly Cassidy looked at Clay " you'd better or i'll kick you where it hurts " she said a smal smile on her lips as she walked over to her and sat down.

" ok miss mitchell , how can I help you ?" she asked and moved achair for Clay to sit " you might want to sit down " she said smiling as if she held some spoken secret " I don't bite"

" Casidy looked at Clay and then at the woman and sighed " ok well i have been feeling moody, sick every morning and tired " she said and sighed taking Clays hand in her own.

" ok lay down " she said, cassidy did as she was told and lay down . The woman raised up cassidies shirt then placed her hands on cassidys stomach after a few minets she sat back down then sat down writing some notes she then looked at both of them " well i know why she's being sick , has she been feeling dizzy latly " she asked looking at Clay.

Clayton sat in the chair and held her hand. he listened quietly to their words. when the lady spoke to him he looked up at him. "she was earlier but that was after some bad news about a man she don't particularly like," he said quietly reaching up to cress her cheek. "So what do you think it is?" he asked the lady, "we have a suspicion but we could be wrong in thinking it." he said quietly. Clayton looked back at cassidy and smiled slightly at her. he was sure she was going to be fine and was praying that she was carrying his child.

cassidy looked at Clay then the woman and sighed waiting to hear her verdict . The woman rote again and stood up pulling down her top she helped her sit up.

" well let me say this to both of you" she faced Clay with a smile " shes about two months gone, she's pregnant " she said anhanded Casidy a perscription " take these folic acid tablets and it should help , get planty of rest and you should feel beter in a few weeks , your due date is November 11th or there abouts , can't be acurate as some thimes they come late , congratulations " she said " I'll leave you two lone for amoment " she sid and headed out of the room .

Cassidy sat looking at Clay not realy knowing what to say " did she say ... Im pregnant ?" she said softly as she looked down at her tummy " I'll have to tell Robert , my job what will they do ? " she said and started to panic a little but then she stopped " our child " she said softly and looked at him.

The Lady left and Clayton stood pulling cassidy into his arms. he kissed her on the head. "Shh," he whispered, "you will tell Robert and he will understand. he will do what is necessary and you will understand his actions and decisions." he tucked her head under his chin. "There is no need to panic." she had calmed down "our child," he whispered kissing her. "the little baby that is going to have everything a baby would want ever. As long as I'm it's father it will be spoiled rotten and never go with out something. just like its mother won't."

Cassidy held him feeling his strength against her and sighed " your not going to run?" she asked looking up at him then she groaned " steven and jack will tease me " she said but smiled at him taking Clays hand she placed it on her tummy " our child , it explains the moodyness and the sickness ow and the weird foods too " she said looking up at him her heart beat fast but for a good reason.

The woman walked back in and smiled " well i hate to say but i need this for the next patient , take this to st. Mongos and ...ow you work for Khaat Lupin's father I'll inform him so he can take care of you" she said handing her a file and smiled .

Cassidy slipped from the bed and stood up still in Clays arms as she held him tight against her for a moment and smiled at him " come on... daddy " she whispered softly to him the last word then gave him a quick kiss.

Clayton looked at cassidy. she had asked if he was going to run. before he would have but not now. "Honey, You changed me. you know that. I'm not going to run," he said kissing her, "it would hurt you way to much." the lady walked in "if Steven and jack say anything you tell me and i'll talk to them," he whispered smiling down at her. "Okay, Mummy," he whispered smiling down at her. he took the file and turned to the door cassidy still in his arms, "lets go home."
