What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. What does Death Eater mean to you? - Page 3 Empty Re: What does Death Eater mean to you?

Flint watched in amusment; this was a rather odd bunch of Death Eaters. He could already tell some of them were doomed; Flint however has lasted a fair amount of years. And he has no plan to stop anytime soon. Though this Emof character certainly sounded a little dodgey. Also rather dumb; Flint hated incredibly dumb people. But Flint caught a glimpse of the ex-head's reaction towards Emof; she seemed hostile. He grinned slightly and continued to lean by the door. He gripped his own wand subconsciously. He looked at Caelani; he wasn't ready to accept her. But his opinion didn't really matter much to her. So he stood, or leaned...whatever, there not drawing attention to himself. He'd silently judge; wondering how long this one would last.

Godric watched as the woman broke Ne'Os's wand, and shook his head. He wondered just how many wands Ne'Os was going to end up going through before he finally died for good. He watched the proceedings, a gleam in his eye. This woman obviously had little respect for other people. And that was one thing that had to be earned. Then again, Godric was of like mind. The only way to be worth something in this world, was to first prove your self.

She seemed to be in control of her self, but Godric couldn't stop himself from wondering exactly what made her tick. what drove her to where she is now? He planned to get the information sooner or later. But for now, he just sat back, and waited to be addressed. He didn't need to piss her off any more then he already had. He really seemed to have a knack for that, and not just with Death Eaters. Just about every one either loved him, or wanted to try to beat him within an inch of his life. No where in between.

The young man shot a glance at Ne'Os and smiled impishly, before returning his gaze once more to the woman that had every one's rapt attention.

What does Death Eater mean to you? - Page 3 Empty Re: What does Death Eater mean to you?

Caelani winced theatrically as Sally spoke, as though giving her a chance to change her response half-way through.

"Is that really the best you can come up with?" she asked.

"I admit, I was hoping you could do better than little Felix, or little Ne'os. But, perhaps I've overestimated you all. I remember when Death Eaters were clever, cunning, conniving. I must admit, everyone, that this sort of foolishness makes me tetchy, and when I get tetchy, my wand hand gets itchy," she went on.

Caelani turned and advanced on Sally, until they were separated only by inches.

"When. I. Ask. You. A. Question," she said, letting her wand tip slide down the other woman's cheek and using it to force her chin upwards so that it finally rested right on her windpipe, "You. Don't. Give. Me. Cheek."

"CRUCIO."

"Remember that. Because next time I have to remind you, I won't be so nice about it."

Caelani looked around the room. This was all getting very tedious.

"Does anyone else have anything they'd like to say, or can we get down to the real business now?"

Sally kept her head high even as the woman raised her waned at her. She then fell to the floor in pain as she was shot a cruse. She stayed on the floor for a minute or so and then stood up when she was able to stand once more. Not afraid, a little stunned maybe but not afraid. She didnt say anything else, she felt the woman had proven herself and rather not be torture again. She walked over and ,eaned aganist a wall for support and stared at everyone else saying nothing so far.

What does Death Eater mean to you? - Page 3 Empty Re: What does Death Eater mean to you?

Thaor watched with a slight smile as Caelani crucio'ed Sally. Thaor was glad that Caelani was willing to torture to get a point across, this would be, her most valuable attribute. Causing fear in her followers, just like Lord Voldemort.

I, would like to say something, if I may? Thaor asked with a slight bow as he stood.

I am here, for the same reason I joined ranks with the death eaters. Because we need to eliminate mud-bloods and blood-traitors alike. I also feel, we need to terminate the lives of those who have been disloyal to us, no matter how much loyalty they claim to have for us now. Thaor said, looking in Ne'Os's direction while saying the latter.

Furthermore, Wizards and Witches, can not live with mugles. They are far more inferior, therefore they should live in fear of us, not the other way around. We should not have to remain hidden from them, we should be using them as our slaves. Thaor continued with a twisted smile.

Some of you, are here because you want protection, or because you're scared, and it is you lot who, as far as I'm concerned, can leave now, because you are the ones who will end up being disloyal, letting information slip, not following through on plans. And lastly, there are few of us, who would rather see ourselves in Caelani's spot, it is you that will be most dangerous to us. If you're worried about being leader, you'll lose sight of our mission. Thaor said, shaking his head.

We can't afford to start fighting amongst ourselves, Caelani has stepped up as leader, so I expect you all to follow her, and do as she says. I'm sure we all remember how Lord Voldemort handled disloyalty. Thaor said, leaning up against the wall.

Caelani's eyes narrowed, but she smiled at the same time.

"OOooh, I like you," she said. "Have you ever been to Cork?"

"Anyway, I think our friend, Mister Elldir, put it very well. There's been enough in-fighting and now it's time to put away old rivalries for the common good."

She vanished all the furniture so anyone who'd been sitting suddenly fell on the floor. It was so fun being the one in charge!

"The fact is, Lord Voldemort is dead. Maybe not forever, but he's dead right now. We've been running around like headless chickens for the last, what, three years? Waiting for him to come back. I, for one, am through with waiting.

"So, I'm giving you all a choice. If you want to come with me, and embody what being a Death Eater stands for; you stay. If you want to hang around and wait for Voldemort to come back, maybe next week, but maybe three hundred years from now; you leave. Now. And I won't kill you unless you give me a reason to."

There was a reason Caelani chose this room. When the door to the ballroom slammed open, and beyond it, the front door to the house, she could see straight down the corridor and out into the drive. Dramatic, but also practical. It prevented anyone who left the ballroom trying to lurk in the house and overhear what was going on afterwards.

What does Death Eater mean to you? - Page 3 Empty Re: What does Death Eater mean to you?

Sandra was dumped unceremoniously on her butt.

Ha ha. Very funny. That had hurt a bit, dammit. She wasn't used to being surprised like that. But she stood without complaint, simply checking her wand to make sure it hadn't been damaged in her short fall. Caelani made a speech that Sandra personally thought was inspiring, if a trifle misguided. But that was minor disagreements in the goals of the DEs . Sandra wasn't about to abandon the order for something like that. So in response, she conjured herself another chair - a simple, wooden chair - and sat down. A very definite statement that she was here to stay.

What does Death Eater mean to you? - Page 3 Empty Re: What does Death Eater mean to you?

Felix didn't move as Caelini advanced on him with her wand drawn. Testy women, trying to take the place of the Dark Lord. But oh well with that, it didn't really matter at this point, because it was clear enough that she didn't like him. That was fine with him, dislike meant he wouldn't have to put up with another Naomi Greyback. Felix watched as the action unfolded without leaving his chair. He got a warning, the only other girl in the room got the spell. He watched as everyone started to settle, the infamous Ne'Os getting his wand snapped, the doors closing with a bang. It was all very dramatic, but where was the actual grown up people in this room?

She was trying to be brave for the people in the room, she was new to her position, she had to look strong. Ne'Os was used to getting his way for a long time, it wasn't like he would give in easily to a new head. The others he wasn't sure about, but there weren't very many Death Eaters left, that for for certain. Of course a few of them were at Hogwarts and may not have been able to get away at the time. Like he had heard that Zara Ellis was working there now, no doubt she got caught up actually teaching something.

Felix felt himself settle into his chair, waiting for the actual meeting to start. The people in this room were giving him a headache, making him realize just how much they needed a sound leader to control them, or they all fell into chaos. Not that he didn't like Chaos, but he was hoping that this was the one place he could go without it. Obviously not.

Ne'Os felt his chair vanish from under him he tried to control his fall but landed on his backside all the same. He simply stood up brushed himself off with one movement and adjusted his pose so he had most of his weight on the one leg that was in front of him and crossed his arms allowing the pose to allow part of his robe to fall back so the leg that was in front of him was uncovered by the long robe he wore. As the robe fell back it revealed a holster holding a silver dagger clearly he was telling the truth when he said he wasn't vulnerable. "Dark one i doubt anyone will leave, your brilliant choice of room makes it difficult to run for cover should you decide to do what i would have done and kill them as soon as they got to the midway point between the ballroom and the front door" he said making sure to sound unimpressed by her dramatics.

"I suppose it's a good thing I'm not you," Caelani said mildly.

"And you can all stop with the presumptuous titles, thank you. The next person who calls me any variation of Dark One or Lady or Mistress is going to get such a hexing."

She looked around the room, making sure to search every face for signs of reticence. There were quite a few people here who Caelani wished would just take the opportunity and leave. She could handle people disliking her, but she was sure quite a few of the faces she was looking at disagreed with her. If they did, they should leave. Had she not made that perfectly clear already?

"So, no takers. Are you all completely sure? You see, it's like this, if you leave now you'll at least have the opportunity to stay in one piece, whereas if you leave later I shan't have any other choice but to kill you."

"No? Well, gather round then, because I have some changes to make. Come on, everyone in a circle, just like when we were in school!"
