I told you we'd see each other again

"Emil..." she said looking at him as she cried, "I have to be strong. If I show how much it upsets me, the papers would have a field day, "Oh poor daughter of the murdered minister of magic...I already get that enough at the ministry." She wasn't trying to put all of this on Emil...it had just happened. She hadn't even broken down in front of Godric about it. He knew though how much it had hurt her and even though no one knew he had done it, it hurt him to know that he had hurt Christy like that. She buried her face in Emil's chest. "I'm so glad that vampire was murdered...if not I would be hunting him down for vengance."

"I'm sorry. If it helps, I believe that they shouldn't be so quick to judge you. After all, you cry because you're sad. Everyone does and they should realize that, I only wish that they'd all accept that", Emil sighed softly to himself and continued to hold Christy. "I'm glad he is gone too. I'm glad that he's gone so you can rest easier at night knowing that he won't bother you or anyone else anymore. Can we talk about something else or put the movie back on? I just don't wanna make you cry anymore or make myself break down". He had a look of concern on his face.

He gripped the remote in his hand, lightly tapping the play/pause button repeatedly, but not hard enough to actually make it do anything. He just...tapped it. He'd been doing this the entire time without realizing he had been.

"No you aren't making me cry." she said wiping her eyes. She was feeling bad about it for him saying sorry. She wiped her eyes and looked at him, "I'll be ok." she said knowing it was a lie. But it was a lie to make him feel better so it wasn't that bad, right? She kissed him on the cheek. "I'm sorry for breaking down like that." She said as the usual Christy came back out and she pushed the upset Christy back down inside of her. "Go a head and start the movie back up, I didn't mean for you to have to stop it. Just please hold me a little longer."

"Don't apologize for braking down in front of me. People need to release emotions once in a while, and I accept that unlike most people", Emil replied. He resumed the movie and wrapped his arms around Christy tightly, but not too tight as to hurt her. Just tight enough for reassurance.

The zombie wizard in the movie had been knocked against a tree with a Stupefy, then tied up with Incarcereus. He was tied against the tree and then tapped with a wand which split his skin little by little with a Diffindo spell. Slowly, the zombie was cut to pieces until it was just a pile of parts.

"That seems rather....anti-climactic".

Christy had to let out a little laugh, "Well you would think that with me dying on top of it." she replied as the set the body parts on fire to make sure that the zombie didn't come back to life, "I told you it was a really bad movie." she went on to say. She had to laugh, she loved how idiotic some of the zombie flicks could be. She looked over at her, "Want to watch another movie?" she asked looking at him curiously.

"Wait but before we do I have to tell you, I'm going on a mission with the aurors this week."

"Ahahahah...well, zombies make terrible movie monsters. They're killed so easily. They have no sentience left, they only live to devour", Emil stated, he had to laugh at that. The credits of the movie rolled, and the credits confirmed what Christy had been telling him and what he'd suspected. He heard the words mission and Auror, and that made him nervous. "Well, if you need to go do it, then do it. But please promise me something, please return home safely, please. I need you to return nice and safe and sound. I don't want to lose you, I don't want you to die horribly." He looked as if he were about to cry, but held it back.

Emil" she said looking at him, she figured he wouldn't like what she had to say but she also knew that he needed to know now matter how he would react, "Its my job." she continued to say, "I can't promise I won't come home unscathed because to be honest, I probably will. I did all the time when I was little and went with my father but to get to where he was when he died I have to work just as hard for it if not harder."

She cupped his cheek in her hand, "I'm sorry, but I will promise I'll come get you in Hogsmeade on Saturday, Friday night at the earliest."

"Okay...", Emil's eyes filled with tears, and he sniffled. "I don't want you to get hurt, please take all the precautions you can, promise me you will. It's the least you can do. Just promise you'll be careful". He was babbling now, but that's what happened when he was concerned or saddened or any other intense emotion. He was feeling the first two, but not the latter. It'd been a mixed bag of emotions that he didn't want, nor would he ever want it. He looked at the movies once more, choosing one that wasn't in a jewel case but was instead in a regular DVD case. It was an action film.

Through tears, Emil said "Let's watch this next movie. Hmm...'Assassin Versus Ninja'".

"I promise I'll do my best to do that." she replied looking at him. She had always been the careful one at times in the family, but she had also taken after her father and Godric and put herself into extremely dangerous positions that could get her potentially killed. She didn't want to tell him that seeing as how he was already extremely upset by what she had just told him. But then again she also couldn't quit her job, no matter how much people would want her too. She was just too close to her dream now to let it slip away.

"Yeah thats actually a good movie." she said being grateful that it hadn't been one of the ones she had been in. She wasn't sure if she could handle another one of those right now, although she was sure Emil wouldn't mind that.

Emil popped the DVD in, then tried to skip the logo parade at the beginning to get to the menu. However, it wouldn't let him, and insisted he watch the boring logos. He rolled his eyes, "Damnit, I pop in a DVD to be entertained! Not bored to death with corporate greed!" He honestly hated the fact that the DVD was imbued with such stupidity. "Are these really necessary? I mean if I liked this movie enough to buy it or watch a copy that a girlfriend bought, then obviously I like the stuff that the company produces. Well, most of it". He went back to the bed and held Christy, holding her was soothing to him.
