I told you we'd see each other again

Christy was down on the floor with him when he picked up a movie she had missed to hide. "Thats a good one I guess." she said looking at him, "Honestly its one of those cheesy zombie flicks but its a good one none the less." she said as she took it and put it in the dvd player. She grabbed the remote for it and turned the television on before she moved to sit back on the bed.

She looked at him a little nervous. Not many people actually got to watch movies she had been in with her. Of course she had been still pretty young when she did it. She couldn't have been anymore than nine or ten at the time. "Come sit on the bed with me?" she asked as the movie started. She forgot how it started off showing her, just like a typical horror movie...running in the woods away from something, looking behind her to see if it was actually following her.

"I don't think it'd be cheesy. Then again, I don't know good film from bad, since I don't watch movies an awful lot. Though, I'd love to watch it anyway! " Emil chuckled. He didn't know that this was a film that Christy was in, he just picked the title at random.

He sat back on the bed and watched the movie. He thought the girl in the beginning looked familiar, but couldn't quite put his finger on it just yet. It took him a few minutes to realize just who it was. "Christy? That's you, isn't it? I didn't know you were in movies! You're a pretty good actress from what I seen so far".

Christy looked over at him. "Yeah." she said turning her attention back to the television. "My parents have been putting me in stuff since I was little." she said looking at him again. "I did modeling and sometimes still do on occasion, but I don't really do any acting anymore...I think they were grooming me to be a part of the public's eye." she said trying not to drag attention away from the movie. She knew some people hated when others talked during a film and she didn't know if Emil was one of them.

Christy leaned against him as she watched herself come back onto the screen again. She tried not to really pay attention to herself, she was always too judgemental of her skills and such. She always thought no matter what she did that there was room for improvement...everything except her love life. On the screen she fell down being hit by a spell by the zombie wizard, a gash on her leg appearing and she started screaming for help.

Emil reached for the remote, and paused the movie. He had a look of seriousness in his eyes. "Christy, that's exploitation. I may be stupid, but I know what exploitation is. I've been working for my family for all my life, hadn't realized that I was being used before until I was a teenager". He had been exploited and knew how it felt to be used by the ones he loved. He knew the pain and the suffering he went through.

He unpaused the movie, letting the last little bit of the scene play through. The zombie wizard had been hit with a curse. It writhed on the ground, and looked really uncomfortable.

Christy looked at him. "Emil.." she said as he paused the movie. "It wasn't like they were doing it to make money off of me." she tried to explain. He seemed highly upset by what she had told him. "All the money is in a vault at Gringotts for me and only I can access it." She sighed as she looked at him hoping she had calmed him down a bit. "I actually had fun doing it." she added before he unpaused the movie.

She moved off of him and fell back on her pillows sighing. She knew what she had said earlier upset him and she knew she would probably have to upset him more with telling him what she would be doing for the week. In the film Christy's character had finally succumbed and been eaten by one of the zombies created by the zombie wizard.

Emil seemed a bit calmer, "Well, as long as they didn't dip into the till before they put it in. I'm just concerned, that's all. My parents gave me my share of money, or what I thought was my share. Really, they paid me only a small percentage of what they should have been paying me. I should have known they were withdrawing funds from me to pay for all their nice things, but no I just had to believe that they were good people". He wasn't angry at Christy's parents any more, in fact they weren't that bad that he knew of. He was more or less mad at his own.

He took a deep breath, "I'm sorry...oh so sorry...I just get worked up so easily. Normally, I'm not this bad".

"Shhh." she said trying to calm him down somemore as she caressed his check with her hand before taking his face in her hands and looking him in the eyes. "Its ok." she said looking at him, "My parents didn't need to dip into it for anything unless for some odd reason I wanted to use my own monies for what I wanted, which was extremely rare." Of course he had to have figured that out...For god sake she lived in a freaking castle!

She kissed him softly on the lips. "You know...I think its kind of cute when you get worked up." she said smiling, "You get this half angry look on your face and very serious." She laughed a little. The mention of his parents made her think about her father. She missed him more than she ever let anyone know and the fact that she was going on a mission with the German aurors didn't help make her feel any better. That was exactly how her father started out working in the ministry right after he finished school.

She looked at Emil like she was about to cry. "I'm sorry." she said wiping her eyes..."Just the mention of parents has reminded me of how much I miss my dad..."

"Sorry, I'm upset. My memories make me angry, and whenever I hear of anything remotely mirroring them, I feel horrible enough to relive that anger. It's....not so pleasant", Emil's eyes filled with remorse and regret for flying off the handle like that. "I....I apologize". He had to laugh, "I can see it's not that often, otherwise you wouldn't have all this stuff that I wish I had".

"You think I'm cute when I get upset?" He blushed wildly. No one'd ever said that before. No one. Not even any previous girlfriends he may have had. They had all told him that he was ugly whilst upset. "Thank you", he was really blushing like mad now. Emil held Christy tightly at the sight of the woman's tears. "Don't apologize for being upset, I understand. You seem to be forgetting who I am". He was trying to lighten the mood to cheer his beloved up.

Christy shook her head. To her it wasn't ok that she show this emotion. Her father had been murdered...big deal. She needed to be the strong one for everyone even though she was his life. "I..I just really miss my father." she said bursting out in sobs uncontrolably. "I..I shouldn't be crying but I can't help it! Ever since he died I've basically taken over as head of the family...I've had to put on a strong face and deal with it because everyone is always watching us...Sometimes I just wish I could destroy all the vampires for the one that did that to him!"

"Shhh....shhh, Christy, it's okay," Emil murmured, "I'd destroy all the vampires of the world too if it'd make you happy and I was able to do it. Unfortunately, I don't think I can do that since there are so many". Softly, he cuddled her closer, "Don't you see, though? Crying makes you stronger. Bottling up emotions is for the weak, crying and expressing emotions makes you stronger for it. It relieves stress and shows others that you are not afraid to show emotions. The biggest thing people seem to worry about is that showing emotions makes them seem weak, it's never the case though". He ran his fingers through her hair gently.
