Triwizard Timeline

So I've been had several thousand PMs and questions about the Triwizard tournament in the past few days, most of them asking about the scheduling. There is some information about that at Other Information, but this will be more exact.

Here is a complete list of all events (+dates) concerning the Triwizard.

September 18th - Durmstrang and Beauxbaton students arrive at Hogwarts. This roleplay will be at the grounds and ALL students are permitted to participate. This will last for about a week. Nominations end on this date as well.

As soon as thats finished - The Welcoming Feast for the Durmstrang and Beauxbatons students will begin. This will be where the goblet of fire is revealed, Will last two weeks.

October 15th will be the announcement date for ALL the champions. Note there will be three champions, not four. On this date the tasks will be described (vaguely) to the champions.

Mid November will be when the First task begins. It will go on for about two weeks to allow the champions to post.

The Yule Ball will begin 20th December and end halfway through January.

Around late-February or early March the Second Task will begin and once again last two weeks.

The final Task will be held around May and last two to three weeks. Champions should still do exams.

One more thing! The number of foreign characters you can make has been lifted. So if you have a beauxbatons character, you can make a durmstrang character now.

Not to be a critic, but the third task may be better off at a different time. May is usually a very, very slow time for all rp boards, because of RL conflicts, such as finals, graduation, etc.
Just wanted to point that out.

Yeahh. I know you like to keep it to canon, but it would make much more sense to have it in June or July!
