A new Minister

Hey everyone, this is both an IC and an OOC announcement.

Due to Matt's departure, our plans to hold an election for the new minister has been brought forward.

So, if you're interested in the top Job, say so here, just make sure you meet the following criteria

1) Existing Charries only, i don't wanna see any new characters brought in specifically for this

2) Not-openly-evil characters. There are some characters on this site that have made it very obvious OOC and IC that they're evil, i wont even bother putting your name up for the ballot. If you're an anonymously evil charrie (Which i encourage people to be) feel free to put yourself up for nomination, it'd be quite interesting to see what happens

3) Grad characters only. Nuff said

4) If you're elected expect to be a major part of plots, don't take this up if you're a once or twice a week person, or if you hate all admins

So yeah, best of luck to all interested, if i've left anything glaringly obvious out, say so, or shoot me a PM, i don't mind

I don't know if this is a glaring error or if you chose to ignore it (I don't blame you if you did), but the minister for magic isn't elected. He or she is appointed by the Wizmagot.

Eurgh, it is an error on my part, i will admit (Would've been easy to lie huh, oh well) but i stand by the decision, it can be an OOC decision, then we can say IC that the Wizengamot Elected them, if it's an issue

I'd just like to nominate Khaat, Jess, and Sophia before I actually have to go...so yeah bye!

Shouldn't people who are willing to play the role be nominating themselves?

I think it's nice people want to show their support for others, but this isn't like a member of the month thing. The people who're nominated have to be willing to take the position.

Most people are nominating themselves, or are asking the people before they nominate them. I've already had a number of people send me PMs, this is just a simpler way.

if that is a concern, selwyn, then let me respond and make it official that i think my Robert character would make a good Minister, and I am interested in the position. I would like very much for him to be considered for it.

I think we already sorted that out Khaat, and i don't think he was criticising, just pointing it out, or asking. I think, anyway.

Also, i forgot to say, he didn't ask me, i'm not sure if i want to or not, but i'm considering it, i am leaning towards a member one though.

I'll put in my character, Daniel Joshua Cethin, or, I want to. I think he meets all the criteria.

Am I supposed to do it via PM, or is this fine?
