What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Out for a Walk (Miseria + Open+ Demons) - Page 2 Empty Re: Out for a Walk (Miseria + Open+ Demons)

Great, he had all the luck in the world at that moment. Two teens that decided to fight a seven foot demon...just perfect. He braced himself for the impact of the table, feeling sharp ripples of pain flow through his living dead body. He groaned, snarling a bit as he looked back towards the child. "Seriously," he said, more irritated than intimidating "you want to fight? I've killed people that could kill you in less than a minute." Hashmisin then decided to fight fire with fire, grabbing the nearest table next to him and lifting it over his head with one arm. Indents ripped through the plastic, making an odd scraping noise. Hashmisin then threw his arm forward, propelling the table towards the man in front. Regardless if it hit or not, the entire table smashed into small wood pieces against the wall, the wall having another indent from the strength.

Hashmisin snarled a bit more, looking at the boy with anger. "Look," he snarled again "if you just give up now, I won't torture you until we get back to the base. Deal?" He often didn't try to sound like he was some sort of comedian or anything, but he didn't want to be there at that moment. He didn't know how many reinforcements were blocking out the sky, so he just wanted to get things over with before he would burn to death.

Out for a Walk (Miseria + Open+ Demons) - Page 2 Empty Re: Out for a Walk (Miseria + Open+ Demons)

Post by James Wake Sat Aug 14, 2010 2:20 am

When James saw the table coming straight at him, he still did not feel the need for wand. Such a relic would be pointless in this kind of battle. This was a battle of brawn and might. And while it would seem that magic would affect the creature, he had a feeling that it would be a less than satisfactory endeavor. He swung his metal arm across, the table richochetin against the faux arm. It crashed against the wall with a satisfactory crumple. James clapped his hands and slid his left, real hand over the false forearm. A blade followed his finger tips, curved beneath the diminished light.
As the Demons described his exploits, James had mocked him. As he heard the Demon's insistence, he considered the options. He could probably escape and fight, dodge and duck, but this being seemed kind of pressed for time. James considered this as he chose his next words carefully. He had to speak clearly but succinctly. He also had to keep his voice pretty low.
"I have men that have tried to eliminate since I was six. In human years, that's pretty young. What happened to them? I blew one up and drew the rest into madness. Now, I can prolong this battle for an extensive amount of time, but from your voice, I can only assume that you don't have the luxury of time. How about we step aside away from... bystanders. and discuss this in more... detail."
Of course, while James was interested in this creature, his only intention at this point was to take the demon to more appropriate place.

Out for a Walk (Miseria + Open+ Demons) - Page 2 Empty Re: Out for a Walk (Miseria + Open+ Demons)

Miseria closed her eyes. Here is this feeling again. Something was wrong. Something was terribly wrong. She took a deep breathe, and opened her eyes again. Then she heard the explosion. It wasn't that far away from them. “Oh dear god...“ she murmured to herself, looking at one location. Why was she always getting into some sort of trouble, no matter with who? She stared at the monster, feeling that she will faint in a moment. She didn't know was this from the shock or just she was too scared, Miseria started giggling. Nervously, though, but still, she laughed quietly. And then she looked at James who threw a table at the monster. Yes, a monster. So now she knew what this thing was who attacked them the last time! But she was mostly impressed by his strenght. How did he do that?

The questions will come later if they'll survive. Or she will survive somehow. She took her bag off and started searching for her wand. When she got it finally, she didn't take it out, yet. The beast will attack them, wether they want it or not. It came here to kill.
His words didn't also sound like a promise. He would, she knew it. He was full of evil, and he'd probably do whatever he wants as they were able to protect themselves with magic.
“I don't think it's going to work, James. One of them already attacked me,“ she murmured to a boy, still looking straight at their attacker.

"Whatever you may believe, this thing has already stated that it has no desire to kill us. It seems that it simply wishes to acquire us," James murmured in response. "Its best if we keep the creature distracted until its time limit is reached. If we can get it to talk, then all for the better." James understood Miseria's fears. Frankly, they were quite substantiated. He had never dealt with seven-foot tall monsters, but he had dealt with plenty of beings formed of pure malice. His alchemic arm hummed as it seemed to recall the finest of those kills. But he ignored the arm's desire for blood... for now.

"Well demon? What say you? Do you wish to continue out here?" James called out to the beast, mouthing the first name he could think of. Demon seemed most appropriate. James was sure that if he reviewed the information he now held about the monstrosity, it would turn out to be a creature of a similar sort.

Miseria gave him a nod as a response, though, she didn't think that the Demon, how James had called him, wouldn't suspect them in boys plan. At the same time when James was doing his smooth talk with the beast, she started looking around. Yes, for sure they had to escape because sooner or later, it Will attack. She was so damn sure of it.
There were some empty streets. Only she and James were standing there and all other witches and wizards had fled. Right, who else would stay and stare? She studied every little detail in those streets, trying to think a quick and a good escape plan. She didn't want to die. Or atleast not by a Demon's hand. She'd prefer just a suicide. And she'd do it alone.

When James finished, Miseria looked back at him but instead of looking back at the demon, she looked up at the sky. Strange, she didn't even notice before that there was no sun anymore. Maybe that was the thing why the creature was in a rush? Was he really afraid of sun, and the clouds? Oh dear, how could she miss this part?

Hashmisin was up to the peak of his irritation. The children weren't afraid for some odd reason. He remembered scaring the living soul out of Chase Moor, yet these two nitwits didn't want to be afraid? And Hashmisin thought he was a freak. "I've had enough of this," he announced and grabbed onto 1 large table and one small chair. He threw the chair in front of him, kicking it as hard as he could towards the two sorcerers and then threw the table, almost directly behind the chair.

As soon as the improvised weapons were flung at them, Hashmisin toke charge, his footsteps thundering along the way. It could have brought the house down actually if he had sprinted. Once he came close to the children, he arched back his large leg and swung it at the two, knowing full well that one of them had some kind of sorcerer arm. It was no matter to Hashmisin, he had killed thousands of men who had something along those lines. All of them were far better sorcerers.

Once the leg had managed to make contact or not, he set his leg back down and decided to go after the girl. All mortals were the same, they didn't want to see their partners hurt. It was an emotional thing that kept them as weak as they were. He pulled his right arm back and lunged it towards the girl, only hoping to grab onto her throat.

Out for a Walk (Miseria + Open+ Demons) - Page 2 Empty Re: Out for a Walk (Miseria + Open+ Demons)

Post by Miseria Lupin Sun Aug 15, 2010 8:52 pm

Miseria looked quickly at the demon, and then at James:“I just love when people Never listen to me,“ she hissed. Of course, now why would he ever stop and talk with them in a daytime? It would be a suicide for him. Only the dark creatures couldn't stay out in the sunlight. “Oh god!“ she gasped when she saw chair and a table flying towards them, and pushed James away, jumping quickly to the other side. Atleast she didn't want to get hit by those things. She'd rather to stay on the ground and not to be kicked against some wall.
Then she had to back up quickly and take out her wand. Her heart was beating so hard so that even James would probably haer it pounding against her chest.

When he started coming at her, Miseria backed up quickly, trying to take out her wand which she had lost in her bag. Damn! So she'll have to go and fight without any weapons. Wasn't she lucky?! She left her bag alone, and backed up again when the demon reached his big hand out for her.
I don't want to die! Not this way! she reminded herself. She knew that this would make him even angrier. She was nervous, and panicing from the inside, but look on her face was more like she was thinking about something else. That would probably make him try to kill her even more. Good, this way Wake could escape, right? Now she was useful somehow.

Hashmisin had the girl now. She was on the floor, scared even. That made Hashmisin grin a twisted and demented smile, his pointed teeth showing very. He grabbed the girl by the neck of her shirt and pulled her off the ground, hoisting her about 3 feet off the ground. He turned his neck towards the other boy, whom the other person had pushed out of the way and said. "Okay you have a choice now," he said, moving the hand that held the girl by her shirt to her neck "you yield-" he then tightened his grip, trying to choke her "or she dies. You have 5 seconds, or her head will be off of her shoulders."

He felt like he was exceptionally evil today.

He continued to put more and more of a grip on her neck, adding a small amount of force each second as the boy toke it to wait. He had no feels, nor remorse towards the girl. She was just another fly that needed to be swatted. He already kidnapped a small child, wondering how the other demons were doing with him. Probably torturing or something like that. Yet the boy had been lucky. He saw the true demon lair, where they had been imprisoned for thousands of years.

If Hashmisin could get this boy to yield, those two would see it as well.

Out for a Walk (Miseria + Open+ Demons) - Page 2 Empty Re: Out for a Walk (Miseria + Open+ Demons)

Six kids had already died from Balrog's hand only today. This demon had no mearcy or manners as some of their kind. He was red like blood, but threw fire balls with his hands. For a little while he decided to watch Hashmisin doing his thing even if he didn't particulary like him. "We do not make deals with humans Hashmisin.Did you go soft?" he asked with a deep tone that could scare a hell out of everyone. His eyes watched as the demon held the little girl in the air.

Next thing he did was turn around to the boy. Leaving witnesses was out of discussion here. Suddenly, two middle-sized fireballs flew from both of his hands towards the boy as he started approaching him with a great speed. His teeth were sharp as knives and his hands were blowing fire. "Surrender human and i'll make your death fast." he said not intending to kill him here. Orders were to bring them back to their lair.

"Dammit Balrog," Hashmisin roared "stand down! You are just a filthy grunt, I will kill you if you defy me!" To even the score, he used his other free hand and swung at Balrogs face. He had not known Balrog for a while, yet did not even care. His own concerns lied with just getting these kids as prisoners. They didn't need an entire investigation by muggles and sorcerers alike. "Take the other one prisoner, or I will inform the leader of your insubordination!"

He was in no good mood and it showed. Balrog was too quick on decisions, a horrible trait for anyone to possess. Hashmisin was trying to take them prisoner, to give them to the leader as a gift. That would provide a sense of worth among his team, something that every demon needed to thrive. "Make yourself useful you slime!" he insulted again
