Nerezza, still jumpy, found herself at the top of the stairs, her emeralds flashing an array of colors as her emotions spun through her body. She was losing her mind in this silence, desperate to grab onto a solid barrier of noise. To her contentment, the portrait of Mrs. Black burst into a scream of anger and fury, but it was comforting to the Italian. She was annoyed when Thaor quieted her. She knew it was a necessity. Eying Scorpius, the boy probably just a year younger than her, she gave him a soft pat on the shoulder. She knew she shouldn't be worried about him, but she realized that they were going to need all of the help they could get. He was young, but he was a Malfoy. Something in her was telling her that she should protect the boy if things got ugly. Flashing him a flawless smile, she muttered, "Stay close to me and I promise no one will kill you." It may have been less than comforting, but she wanted to keep him safe.
Turning so that her back faced Robert, she moved her eyes around again. She couldn't stand this. Why couldn't they just get on with it? She was growing antsy, more so than she could anticipate. Did they really want to test her patience? She would slaughter more than they realized the longer they waited. What the hell were they waiting for anyway? She could feel that this was a trap, that they had a plan, but she was irritated. She wanted blood, damn it! Angrily and without being able to stop herself, she bellowed, "Come on, you bloody cowards! SHOW YOURSELVES OR I'LL BURN THIS PLACE DOWN UNTIL I SLAUGHTER EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU, EVEN THE PRECIOUS STUDENTS!" Nerezza cackled wildly, the sound wicked in its resonance. She was about to start throwing spells in every direction if they didn't start something.
