Andrew nodded and said "They shouldn't of done it. And if I ever see those two again, by god they will regret it." He didn't want to see Nerissa hurt. right now he was mad at those kids who thought they were funny and mad that he wasn't there to stop those guys. He looked at Nerissa and then said "I'll stay here and help you help them if you want."

Nerissa set the pot that she had salvaged in front of Andrew, frowning as she did so, “Its dead,” she replied. At least my Mandrake is safe, the little guy wont be harmed like the rest of these poor, unfortunate plants, Nerissa thought, swearing to keep her pet with her now as long as she felt it was unsafe to leave the plant alone. The part that bothered Nerissa most about the situation, was the fact that she hadn’t had the chance to figure out what house the two were in, and therefore, could be sharing the same common room with them for all she knew.

The fact that Andrew was willing to help and protect Nerissa made it that much less difficult for the Ravenclaw patch the small hole in the thudding heart beneath her chest that kept her alive; she felt comforted by his words even with all of the danger and gloom that was lurking about the wizarding school. And that was why the words that Nerissa spoke next shocked even herself; “I want to go home.”

"Alright," he said standing up "let's get you home." He held out his hand offering to help Nerissa up. He knew if they moved a little bit further they could apereate out of the area. He would have to try and apperate to wherever she said though. He was stilla novice at apperating and would...well need practice.
