That is in the event that the site is inactive though, Selwyn.
Either way the characters can still be remade.

I don't like that idea.. simply because there are a LOT of old memories on this site! I look at the Pensieve EVERY DAY! I don't want that all to go away! My character.. I was on here a long time ago, and now I've come back.. I came back because I love this site so much, sure redo the plot, but don't take everything else out, there is no need.. people have worked hard on their characters, and there is a lot of effort put into this site! Why get rid of it, after all that hard work?!

Guys, calm down okay!
To clear up some confusion. We are not going to delete every single thing on the site, nor will we delete all the characters. However, if we make a time jump, then some characters will need to update their history and personality.

Even if you are afraid of losing anything (maybe your favourite thread, I don't know), you can go to the top right corner of any thread in this forum, click the actions menu, in the dropdown click on "send to a friend" and email it to yourself.
