Escape to Brian Quinn's

jack aperated in to relive Steven had ether left early or he was late. he sighed as he moved up the stairs "wow you suposed to sleep in the bed not on the floor " he said watching brian put her bck in the bed "now ether i am late or steven left early which its it?" he asked moving to watch Abby in the other room , he pulled funny faces and she giggled at all of them he could not help but smile "you young lady should be paly mates with our doughter " he sid "she'd love you" he said "yes she would" he said in a baby voice. He saw a young woman standing in the room with brain and Khaat and walked over to her "jack black heart , and you would be?" he asked curiose to know whto she was as she hadn't been there when he had been there two days ago. But not getting an imidiat reply he turned to Brian and pulled a face , then walked over "Khaat you realy shouyld stay in the bed its more comfotable that the floor, trust me I know.."

"Emmy," Brian said, "Would you tend to Abbey please? And keep an eye out for breakfast to arrive from Sparks. Lizze should be sending it any time now. " He covered Khaat again and said, "I'll get you some coffee. I think you're just on time, Jack. Steven just left. So far, its been quiet. Nothing really out of the ordinary for living out in the wilderness. I told Khaat if she felt up to it I would get her up a bit more today."

Jack smiled "sure , I bet some sunshine will do you and abby the world of good" he said smiling at her "but you have to eat first , biuld up your strength so you can enjoy it more , bet he looked a sight , erm how did he look after your fight not too much damage i hope" he asked wondering about it , since he had now seem him since the fight when he stormed off "is he really pissed?" he asked again softly s Khaat would not over hear.

"No. He was fine," Brian said, leaving her in Emmy's hands long enough to go get her some coffee. "Robert fixed up the damage, and he looked a lot better. I think he's wised up quite a bit. I plan on getting Khaat out of that room today and get her out into on of the lounge chairs outside. Its going to be warm today, and I think a little time in the sun would be good for her. She definately needs some color back in her skin. We have to work on that. "

Jack sighed at Brian saying Steven looked and acted alot better for being drunk and getting it out of his system "good its what he needed and yeah she dose look a bit like a vampire " he said grinning to ehr "joking , but some sun would help you, all that vitamin d running threw you , you'll be back up in no time 2 he chuckled "well so jessica says anyway" he looked back out the window and shook his head " a fox is on the lawn, whats thet about thought they were night animals " he said frowning.

"Hm," Brian sighed, reaching the kitchen and getting a large mug and pouring Khaat some coffee, "Well, not all the time. Especially when that isn't really a fox. Its a poacher who was turned into a fox by Steven last night. So, yeah, he has a whole new lifestyle to get used to. I should turn him back, but I don't think I will yet. I think I'm going to leave it alone for awhile until he gets the message." He took the coffee back to Khaat and said, "When Emmy gets you refershed for the day, I'll take you outside, and maybe we'll do that tour of the house today."

"That woudl be nice," Khaat smiled. "I think I would like that."

jack laughed at the thought "a poacher , ow thats funny, but yeah hes so got alot to learn maybe he'll bcome a grounds keeper once hes turned back " he said he could not help but chuckle and he poured himself a cup of coffee "she'll love you french roast i belive " her said grinning at him "I'll check out the ouside and chase off the poacher, but should be a pretty nice day " he said "ow jessicas calling this afternoon she couldn't get a baby siiter till then besides nicluse and his sister have there first imunaltion jabs this morning and she wanted to be there for that" he said taking a drink of his coffee and saveouring the flavor "boy shes right it does taste good"

"Thanks," Brian grinned, "I learned it from her. She's really picky when it comes to her coffee. She can tell you by the smell and the taste what is Columbian, or Arabica, or Ethiopian or any other blend. She just knows. And she will toss out a weak wimpy coffee in a heartbeat. " Just then containers arrived from Sparks. "Ah. Breakfast." He accio'd plates from the cabinet and fixed a plate for Khaat, to fit her small appetite. "Fix yourself a plate if you can eat again," Brian said. "There's plenty here." He had the plate arrange itself on a tray with juice, silverware, a napkin, and anything he thought she'd need. He sent it off to Khaat's room.

Jack noded and quickly plated up his breackfast and he moved out to the orch while he ate he threw a scrap to teh fox and chuckled "now you better go or we;ll turn you into a toad " he said and the fox wimpered and ran into the woods again, steven chucked and sat down to eat his breack fast and drink the coffee as he waited for Brain to ether call him or join him in the warming sun.

Brian brought his plate and his coffee out and sat with him. "I think Khaat is finally starting to turn the corner on this thing--as long as I can keep her brain off of Rob. When she thinks of him, she gets incredibly angry. She's still starting weather storms in her sleep from time to time, but its nothing we can't manage. I think the more she starts to have a direction in her life, the better she's going to feel."
