"Rob has no reason to kill me," Khaat said. "My father, maybe. But not me. But if you want to come, that's fine by me. He's going to be more angry at my father than anyone else. My father blew the whistle on him and changed his life as well as mine and Abbey's. So, he has more motive to be angry with him. But I do see your point."
"Ah, but the press is a bigger threat right at the moment. They could well make your life miserable, and we don't want that," Brian said. "That's what we're avoiding as well. I have no issue with you going out when you're well, and perhaps a muggle neighborhood might be a bit safer. That's not a bad thought. But for tonight, lets put that on hold. Myself, I think we've kept you long enough. Its getting late, and you need your rest. I think we all need to let you and Abbey have some quiet time before you sleep." He motioned everyone out.
Katherine kissed Khaat and Abbey and said, "He's right, Dear. And I'm sure your father will stop by whenever he finishes. You should rest until them. I'll stop back. I promise."
Katherine left the room, heading for the kitchen for a warmup on her tea.
