Escape to Brian Quinn's

Brian apparated in beside them and saw the start of a daytime metamorphasis in Jack. "Stop that, Jack," Brian said, "That's not helpful. I need an auror for a partner--not a werewolf. Cut it out. Have you been taking your potion?"

He could pick up on Khaat now. He started walking down the street deeper into Knockturn, with Robert right beside him. Robert could feel her too. What Robert was not going to tell either of them was that her energy signature was not quite right. Something wasn't right, and until he saw her, he wasn't going to know what it was.

Khaat found herself in a room that was almost pitch black, except for the light of a single large pillar candle. She was lying on a dirty wooden work table. Someone took off an enchanted cloak of some sort, and she saw an evil looking man with a scar down the entire length of the right side of his face. He was hideous.

She felt something wasn't right, somehow, with herself. She didn't know if she was hurt or if she had been given a potion, or both. But she was desperately weak again--paralyzed almost. It was magic. That much she knew. It was a spell or something. Unable to even move to scratch an itch. She couldn't see if she was bleeding or not, but she was at the mercy of this ugly man. She was grateful that Abbey was safe, at least.

He demanded his money. He said Rob had defrauded him out of a lot of money owed him for ingredients for his potions, and claimed Rob owed him hundreds of thousands of galleons. With Rob's empire folding, he was desperate for cash. And he wasn't beyond doing whatever he needed to do to get paid.

Khaat looked at what she thought was a vessel of some sort catching blood from her wrist, but she wasn't sure if what she was seeing was real.

jck pulled some of his trasphormation back "I have but its growing weaker " he said his voice njormal bit his claws and eyes remained " I have been meaning to come see you about it" she finished moving with him threw the alleyway he looked at brain , "yes im part wearwolf, Roberts been helping me control it." he breifly explained.

Emmy was still back at the safehouse protecting Abbey with her life after what she seen happen to Khaat, well... actually no one saw for it was oure darkness. As she sat in the rocking chair rocking herself she looked over at the sleeping Abbey that was asleep in her crib. "I'm not going to let Robert down or Khaat, I'll protect you with my life."said Emmanuelle softly to the sleeping Abbey. "I just hope they find Khaat, she doesn't need to go through any more then she already is."said Emmanuelle sighing. Emmanuelle feel asleep rocking back in forth in the rockin chair in Abbey's room. Emmanuelle placed charms around the room so no one coulld enter other then the people who were suppose to be in this house.

"Why is it that werewolves always wait til they're in trouble before they get more potion?" Robert sighed, a bit irked. He did not need this extra complication right now. Between Steven's recent attitude problems and Jack's neglecting to take his potion, Robert felt like he had his hands full. And it was not something he needed with Khaat's life in the balance. He needed men that knew how to do their jobs--and part of their jobs was to stay healthy both physically and emotionally. If they could not do that, he did not need them. He needed to have a word with Brian about it when he got the chance and have Brian take Jack underwing as well perhaps. Steven and Jack both needed to improve their job performance if they were going to be of use to him and to Khaat.

He found the passage easily leading down into the catacombs and the minute he entered, he could feel her, but something wasn't right. His steps quickened, his wand drawn for battle. He hurried now, feeling a desperate urgency, through the darkened tunnels far below London. Brian seemed to feel it too, because he was almost out striding Robert. Brian also drew his wand, feeling Khaat's life in desperate danger, and expecting to have to fight over it.

jack looked at him "I take it Robert just as you said " he said shaking his head gently "or at lest i Think I do , ow my heads so mixed up " he said feeling his wear side subside at that point , he took out teh bottle and showed him "see its writen on the bottle " he showed him then put it back on his pocket as they drew closer to where robert knew Khaat to be and where hse now could smell her inside.

“Later,” Robert said. He walked down the tunnel, past the first door, where he and Jack had gone in before and kept walking. He got to a different door and waved silently to his companions. Brian positioned himself in front of Robert to protect Robert from a direct hit, while Robert wove a Contego spell around them all. Then Brian kicked open the door to reveal a crude potions lab with an ugly man inside, his wand drawn also. “Don’t do it. There’s three of us and one of you,” Brian said fiercely.

“Yes, but one of us isn’t human,” the man laughed evilly. He leaped towards Khaat at vampire speed, as Robert was moving for her. Robert shot a cruciatus at him, and the man fell to the floor in a wimpering heap. Robert grasped Khaat’s bleeding wrist, putting direct pressure right over her wound so it didn’t keep bleeding out. He laid his other hand on her forehead. “She’s been put under a spell and she’s been given a powerful potion—both. This won’t be easy. You two take care of this little weasel that took her.”

Jack grinned as they brust threw the doors his wear side sneeking out again and he howled as his claws drew from his fingers with one swipe he sent the man flying across the room but he got back up obiosly now human or nteh potions had affected him "ok" he said grlowing and ran full speed at him his claws ripping at his chest skin tor open and the man lay dead on the ground jack stood over him breathing hard as he shrank back to human form he stumbled back against a table weakened from the sheer will poiwer he ahd to use to control himsef he looked at Brian "he ... he wouldn't stay down" he said catching his bereath "ie was charmed or cursed or something "

"He was a vampire," Robert said, "Brian, I need your help. Release her."

Brian fired a Finite directly at Khaat, freeing her from her paralysis. She could move again, but the potion left her mind numb and foggy. Robert tore off the hem of her blue silk nightgown and used it to bandage her wrist tightly. "This wound is going to take time. Its been cut with an enchanted blade. It will take me awhile to undo it. Jack, look for any daggers you find here. I want them all," Robert ordered. "Bring them with you." Robert picked her small form up easily, and she laid her head weakly against his chest.

"It's alright," he soothed, "I have you. You know what to do, Brian," He said, apparating away with Khaat.

"He's taking her back to my place," Brian said. "You look for the daggers, I'm going to search the potions to see if maybe he dipped the blade into a potion to keep the wound from healing."

jack nodded and took adep breath as he looked around he found several blades placing them into a small bag he found thire was one it to him felt wrong it was skull blade its handle golden he took hold of it and slid it into its holdster sliding that into the bag too and quickly headed for the door he knew his head was spinning from his trashormation but he could do nothing about it right now .
