Order of the Phoenix Meeting 6

Jess walked into the kitchen, a tired, but happy look on his face.

((Yes it's short, but it's a starting post, it really doesn't need to be long, otherwise it's just mindless blabbering like 'he took a seat and thought 'god i hate those drapes' which, in my opinion is really, really pointless, because what's the next person meant to say about that? Huh, it's got no real content in it, and is similar to spamming, there's no point other than to make a post look better than it is ))

Teddy walked into the room. It was his first meeting at the Order of Pheonix, and he was feeling rather nervous. He looked at the table, one other person was there, and judging by the fact he was sitting at the front of the table, he was no doubt the leader. He was young, probably younger than Ted himself. "Err.... hi," he said, nodding at his direction before taking a seat. He would have felt better probably had there been more people in the room.

Matt entered number twelve with a simple look of boredom on his face. He made his way down the familiar hallways into the kitchen to find Jess and Teddy sitting at the table. "Teddy Lupin!" he said smiling. "I've heard about you!" he said smiling. He took a seat at one end of the table opposite where Jess sat. He nodded to Jess, "Hey Jess,".

Mariana wasn't fashionably late as always. She had a whole of three next classes so she left her books in her common room in Dungeons and got outside to the point where she could apparate. She took a secret look back at the castle remembering that last time she went to the meeting she returned a week later after sneaking out of St.Mungo's. She appeared in the hall by the stairs and went down towards the kitchen entering through the opened door. "Good afternoon." she said looking anywhere else apart at Jess before she took a seat and crossed her arms & legs quietly.

Robert had had Katherine meet him at St. Mungos and then had dragged Khaat out of her office with a bribe of a cup of french roast. She was up to her neck in financial reports, and really didn't want to be interrupted. Robert had stopped at the healer's lounge and brought her a large, fresh cup, in a paper to-go cup, not giving it to her until she got up and actually went with them.

When they arrived at Grimmauld Place and went in, then Robert handed her her precious coffee. She smiled, knowing no one else would understand the joke, and she kissed him lightly on the cheek. All his attempts to get her off the stuff for the sake of her pregnancy had gone for naught.

They went in and joined the others. Robert and Katherine took seats. Khaat passed Jess and said to him softly in his ear so that only he could hear, "If you're going to provide security at St. Mungo's, I suggest you do it soon. I have it through the grapevine that Emof is working up another quest for power again. If you guys can't do it, let me know. I'll hire a bodyguard." She looked at him squarely, to let him know this was no joke. She was completely serious.

Rob was late. Well, maybe he was early. Bah, he didn’t know and he didn’t care. All he knew was that he’d been hounded by his sister all morning as she tried to bring some life back into him. She even had Lizzie hit him over the head with her frying pan a few times but that only made him bleed and feel light headed. He was now walking towards Grimmauld place with a cigarette in his mouth and his hands in his pockets. He was waiting for some life-pro Muggle to tell him that smoking was bad but so far his count was nil. It seemed as if the Muggles didn’t want to remind him of the dangers of smoking today.

He jogged up the steps of Grimmauld Place and took his cigarette out of his mouth. He pulled his trainer off and dabbed the end of the cigarette on the bottom of his shoe so it went out. He flicked it into one of the bushes nearby and received a disapproving look from a woman. If it were one of his friends then they’d probably comment on the poor shot or something. Rob opened the door of Grimmauld Place and walked inside. He put his trainer back on and pulled his hoodie off. His rather large home-done tattoo which took up the left side of his torso and arm was on show now. He yawned sleepily and ran a hand through his hair, mussing it up. Rob walked into the kitchen of the old house and dumped his hoodie on the chair opposite the one Khaat was sat on.

Rob sat down and took a card from his pocket, a tarot card. He waved it in front of Matt’s face. He smirked and put the card down on the table. “Were you being mean to my sister, Minister?” he chuckled. “Hey Jess.” He added as an afterthought, nodding to their bored looking leader.

"Hello Ted," Jess said, standing and shaking his hand, a polite nod included in the greeting. "Welcome to Grimmauld Place, i trust you arrived well?" He asked, an inquisitive look on his face. "Anyway, i'm glad you chose to join us here in our humble meeting place," he said, turning to face the others, and returning to his seat.

"Good evening everyone," he said, smiling looking at each of them in the eye as they entered the room, so as to let them know that he'd ackknowledged their presence, even if he didn't individually greet them all. "how is everyone?" he asked. He then smiled and said out of the corner of his mouth, "So i've heard, don't worry, it's on the agenda for this meeting, hopefully we can quell this before it starts."

Matt grinned at Rob, "I have no idea what your talking about Dent," he said hiding a laugh. He turned to Robert and winked at him. "I'm asking Gabrielle to station Aurors at every important place in the Wizarding world," he told him. "Don't worry Jess." Matt said giving him a smile. He remembered something and turned to Rob, "Rob! I need to ask you something!" he said standing up and grabbing him by the shoulder. "How would you and that sister of yours like to look after my daughter Sophia at Hogwarts?" he asked him.

Rob raised an eyebrow and shook his head. He expected Matt knew exactly what he was talking about. It amused Rob to no end when Jen came home ranting and raving about how she’d skin the Minister and leave him as he was all organ-filled and bony. It wouldn’t be a nice sight but Jen had planned on cutting bits up and owl mailing it to him but not before putting owl treats in there with the skin so the owls ripped it all apart. Rob got the feeling that she’d done that sort of thing before but he knew better than to ask. That was only slightly gross even from his point of view. “Why us?” Rob asked, intrigued. “I mean, sure. We’ll do it but why?” he raised an eyebrow at him. Rob already guessed that Jen knew. She had an uncanny skill of knowing what Rob was up to. That disturbed him to no end but it sure helped sometimes – like now.

Mariana raised an eyebrow. Order members and Aurors at Hogwarts. That is going to piss the neurotic Headmaster off. That won't be good. "Why don't you let me and Arthur handle it? We are already there and bugging the headmaster is not such a good idea." she spoke up not sure if anyone actually noticed she was there though she would skip those details. "And in final case there is McCoy and Wilson at school if something goes wrong." she added looking at the wall while she was speaking not sure why herself.
