“Exactly,” Keera replied, trying her best to forget about the words ‘mental disorder’ and
continued on with what she was saying, “So now that you know what hysteria is, I can
explain to you fully what a Alihotsy leaves are capable of.” Keera, still holding a small pl-
ant by it’s stem in her hands, raised the plant up so that it was in front of her face, and
so that the students could see it from where they were sitting. “If these leaves are touch-
ed, swallowed, or if you come in contact with them at all, they will cause inexplicable
hysteria. So, what I want you to do is get into pairs and do exactly what I tell you,” she
explained, standing up from her rickety chair.
Keera walked over to two of the tables and sat a plant identical to the one she had been
holding, on its surface. She was going to have one of the students in each pair eat one
of the plant's leaves, and then she would have the other try and find a way to cure them.
She would not tell them the antidote, for it was something they should have already learn-
ed by that time.
