What a Day!

Frank entered the nice looking Bistro, simply looking for a nice place to blow an hour or so. He needed to spend some time in Diagon Alley as his owl was being mended at the Magical Menagerie. He went up to the counter and ordered himself a drink, just a drink. He would eat later, he then glanced at a larg table near the fron window. Perfect, he could read the paper he was carrying under his arms with lots of light. He took his drink, and set of towards the table.

He sat down on the hot stool, most of the snow was gone by now. If he had any hopes for a snowball fight, it was best he had one soon. Anyway, he opened up the Saturday edition of the Daily Prophet and began to read. There really wasn't anything in the news, the biggest headline was the new Minister. But he fliped the paper open, and noticed they had added a comics section in the Daily Prophet. It was more or less a muggle cartoon, and he laughed as a cat fell off a table because a dog barked. He took a sip of his drink, and continued to read on.

Belle came strolling into the Bistro deciding to get a drink while out and about while Andrian was at work. It was still strange to think that they were married, but she doubted it was something you just got used to over night. After she ordered just a regular iced tea she turned and saw a student she had seen a few times around school, sitting at her favorite window seat.

She walked over and smiled, "Hey, mind if I join you?" She asked.

Julia fluttered into the Bistro to grab a quick drink while she was on her way to do some shopping. She never usually went shopping alone- or shopping at all, really- but all of her girlfriends were busy, and none of her guy friends would want to go shopping, except Eli, but he was busy as well. She approached the counter and ordered a drink. When she got it, she looked around the room for a table, most of them were filled, it was a busy day after all. Julia sighed and looked up only to see Belle with some boy sitting at a table by the window. Belle was standing in front of him, so she couldn't see his face. Julia smiled, Belle was so sweet, and she was glad that she was there, maybe they could shop together? She wondered.

Julia approached the table and tapped Belle on the shoulder. "Hey" She smiled brightly "How are you?". She looked over to the boy who she was talking to and noticed Frank. At the sight of him, she smiled wider "Hey!" She said happily to him "Didn't expect to see you here! How are you?" She asked. Julia thought she should tone it down a bit, she didn't want to sound "too happy", that would only make her seem fake. "Would you mind if I join you?" She said, calmer. Julia couldn't help but feel so happy when she saw Frank, he had that affect on her. "I love your shoes, by the way, Belle, they're adorable! ... Wow I sound like a total prep right now" She giggled

Belle turned when she felt the tap and saw Juilia and smiled, she listened to the girl and then laughed. "Not at all Julia, your's are quite cute too. And I am fine thanks, how have you been?" Belle asked.

She was in a few classes with Juilia and she liked the girl, she had a good fashion sense and an even better personality. She also caught the happiness in her voice when she spoke to the boy, obviously knowing him. She turned back to the boy and smiled. "If you didn't catch that I am Belle by the way."

Frank looked up to see a girl he had seen around Hogwarts before, she was a Ravenclaw. He didn't know her too well, and decided it'd be a pretty good idea to start now. "Uh, sure!" he said happily. "I'm Frank Longbottom!" he said putting out his wand for her to shake it. She was holding a drink in her hand and he grinned, "Whatcha got there?" he asked pointing to the cup in her hand. "I have myself some cold butterbear!" he said smiling at her taking a drink of his butterbear.

Then, Julia came over. He hadn't seen her since..well in a while anyway. "Hey..." he said to her standing up. "I'm just uh...haning around," he said, his palms beginning to sweat. "My owl's down at the Magical Menagerie, needed some work done.." he said moving a little closer to her. "Oh yeah sure!" he said very happily answering Julias question. He pulled a chair out for her next to him and smiled. "You look very pretty today," he whispered in her ear as she sat down. She had definatly made a change in Franks mood, she always did. Whenever she was even near, Franks mood went from happy to, extremely happy!

Belle took a seat across from them and smiled at the two of them, they were cute together but she kept that to herself for the time being. "Nice to meet you Frank, and just some iced tea. I have just been out and about today waiting for my husband to get home. We have chores we need to do tonight." She explained as to why she was out. "I am sorry to hear that about your owl, I hope it is all right."

Adam walked across the cobbles of Diagon Alley, being careful about how and where he leaned on his cane. The bottom of the cane had slipped off of a cobble a few times and Adam was no resorting to walking behind people and tapping into their eyesight so he knew what he was doing. He stopped outside a diner and pulled out of the sight of the person who was heading to Madam Malkin’s. The cane was in a bad mood and Adam could tell that much. He stepped onto the porch and opened the door of the diner. He walked inside and listened to the breathing of the people inside. He figured there was about three people inside and all sitting together if their breathing patterns was anything to go on. He walked across to them and stopped a little way away from the table. He could feel the objects around him, he just didn’t know where they were until he walked into them. “Um, hello. May I join you all?”

Julia smiled widely as she took a seat next to Frank. "Aw thank you!" She said happily to Belle "I'm great, thanks. Just doing some shopping... there was nothing else to do today" She giggled. Julia's mood instantly changed as Frank whispered to her "Thank you" She whispered back to him. Frank always changed Julia's mood when she was around him, she was either extremely nervous or extremely happy! Right now it was more happy, though. Julia looked up as she saw Adam, the blind boy that she met at the Ball. "Hello Adam! Nice to see you again" She said brightly. Adam was very sweet and Julia felt bad for him. Someone as kind and warmhearted as Adam deserved to see everything in the world. "Of course you can join us!" Julia said, looking over to Frank, making sure it was alright.

Frank was happy all these people were joining them, he loved being around people. Though it was Julia that made it perfect, "Oh yeah, he should be fine!" he said putting his drink down. "Hi, Adam is it?" he asked. "I'm Frank Longbottom, of course you can join us!" he said happily smiling to Julia. He also noticed the boy had a cane, he was blind. Oh well, the more the merrier! As long as he could talk and have fun he was welcome with Frank. He looked up at the boy, smiling even though he probably couldn't see.

He smiled to Belle, and then Julia again. "Yeah, sometimes weekends are as boring as waiting for Christmas morning!" he said laughing very cheerfully. The mood was set, now he wondered if any more people were going to come. He would welcome them like the bestest of friends, he was too friendly for his own good. He took another sip of his drink and put his news paper away. He wouldn't be reading it now, he was going to be talking it up.

Belle pulled the chair next to her out and smiled towards Adam, "Here, you can sit next to me Adam. I'm Belle." She then turned back to Frank and laughed at his comment about weekends and Christmas morning, "I had never thought of it that way before, but I suppose you are right.."

She then looked at Juilia, "Oh I love shopping, perhaps we can go together some time?"
