Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Landon Rooney wrote:Shrugging his shoulders at Sophia he commented, "Search me. I have no idea why everyone actually recognizes the blasted holiday." Landon had to roll his eyes when Sophia began yelling at a random couple whom was publicly displaying their affection. She was always one to call people out...that was just the way she was. He wasn't sure whether he would actually go to this party or not but it was tempting. He hadn't heard of anything else going on. "Sure, I might swing by if nothing more interesting turns up," he teased her. Landon let out a dramatic sigh of relief when she said she didn't have a date. "Good, I wasn't really feeling up to interrogating anyone tonight," he replied with the traditional Slytherin smirk.

"Eh, but we generally don't wear our hearts on our sleeves like women tend to do," he retorted, somewhat seriously and somewhat jokingly. After taking her out to the dance floor, the two fell into a steady pattern with one another. Landon rolled his eyes at her question, "You know I've never been anything but the perfect gentleman," he answered, chuckling at his own joke. Turning the joke back around on her he asked, "And when did you become such a lady?" Honestly, she had always been polite when she needed to be, she was a little rough around the edges in his opinion, sometimes she was a bit too outspoken for her own good. Landon laughed at her comment. "Well, it looks like I'm just winning the women all around with my charming personality." He had never really bothered to pursue any girl, much less changed his personality for one. There were times where he thought he wouldn't mind dating someone but other times he was quite sure that he was happy being alone. "So what's been going on with you lately?" Generally the two kept on close terms, speaking frequently. However Landon had been rather busy as of late and hadn't really had the opportunity to speak with her until now.

Sophia nodded and rolled her eye. "Ugh... I know, I mean don't couples do this anyway every single day?"Sophia asked a he nodded to a couple making out. Sophia smiled when he said he would swing by. "Awesome your the best Lanny!"said Sophia hugging him and letting go of him before anyone gotten the wrong idea between them. When she seen him sigh and say he was glad she didn't have a date for he didn't feel like interrogating anyone tonight she hit him playfully. "Hey I have you know Lanny, I'm single and I'm lioving every minute of it think you very much."said Sophia seriously. Sophia rolled her eyes when he said women wear there heart on there sleeves. "True, but at lease we don't dump a girl at the end of the night and never talk to them again."said Sophia half seriou half joking.

Sophia nodded and when he he haven't been anything but a perfect gentlemen. "I know you have Lanny, and you know that does turn girls on."said Sopohia winking at him obviously joking with him. Sophia laughed when he aid he was winning all the girls around with his charming personality. "True you are, I'm going to have to become more protective of you like you are to me."said Sophia half serious half joking. Sophia laughed when he asked when she became such a lady. "I always have been Lanny, you know that or at lease should!" said Sophia laughing and smirking at him. When she seen Andrian smile and waved back he miled and continued dancing with Landon. Keeping her eye around the room he noticed Andrian walking towards them and then asked if Landon was her Valentines he laughed. "No of course not Andrian, he's my cousin he's only dancing with me because he knew I was upset."said Sophia softly. "Oh, Landon this is Andrian one of my best friends and Andrian thi is Landon my couin."said Sophia softly.

Gibbs entered the great hall after slapping the back of Roberts head for a cruel joke he had said to Matt. It was very nice inside and he smiled. He smiled alot, he looked around. Sadly there were no coffee machines anywhere. Who'd he have to slap to get a cup of joe around here? He sighed and actually entered the dance and moved over to the food table. He picked up a glass of wine and leaned on the table. He was looking around for someone he knew. Sadly nobody seemed to be there just yet except his little brother. He turned around and picked up a sandwich. He sniffed it, making sure it was contaminated and took a bite after he figured it was fine.

He turned back around and made his way across the dance floor. He had to poke a few people to clear a space and he grinned when he finally made it. He straightened his jacket and he smiled like he had just achieved something wicked. He moved over to a table and took a seat with a bright smile on his face. He put the candle out with his fingers and then waved his wand making a cup of coffee appear. He need it badly....

Landon just chortled at her remark, "Yeah, I guess they do." Maybe he was too cynical about Valentine's day. He had never really been all that sure. The Slytherin had never actually had feelings for someone that were deeper than a puppy love crush; maybe there as more to it then he could see. But for now, it all seemed really idiotic. He returned her quick hug before replying, "Of course. Did you ever expect I was anything less than the best?" he replied with fake confidence and a smile. After she reassured him that she was perfectly happy being single Landon smiled, "Good. I think you should stay that way for a while," he replied jokingly. He knew Sophia probably wouldn't stay single for long but a cousin could hope he wouldn't have to play the overprotective brother role anytime soon, couldn't he? At the comment about boys leaving girls and never talking to them again Landon gave her a 'you've got to be kidding me look.' "Ah, c'mon Sophia. You know I've never done that." But that was probably only true because he'd never actually done anything with a girl. He may be the only sixteen year old boy who had never been kissed.

Landon laughed at her comment. "Oh yeah. You know that's always my main goal in life. I just sit there and wonder what exactly would turn the ladies on," he joked. Honestly, even if Landon had felt strongly for a girl, it was unlikely he would ever act on it. He was generally impassive and lazy in that department. He had decided long ago that if a girl ever made him feel as though he needed to act on it, that was the girl for him. Until then, he'd focus on himself. Landon rolled his eyes when she claimed that she may need to be protective of him. "I can watch out for myself, thank you very much. You're the one who needs the protection from these boy who, what did you say? Dump a girl at the end of the night and never talk to them again?" he retorted, using her own argument against her. When this man named Andrian came up to them, Landon had to give him the look up and down, you know, just to see if he was good enough for a family member. He couldn't help but snort slightly when Andrian asked if he was Sophia's valentine. Just the idea of it was funny. He gave a nod in Andrian's direction, "Hey, nice to meet you."

Scorpius's reaction was what Melanie had expected. He hadn't really said anything at all to her, which had obviously gotten Julia quite angry. Not really caring, she drank some firewhiskey and rolled her eyes at Elizabeth's 'compliment.' Melanie knew that even if she was looking great, Elizabeth wouldn't dare give her a compliment. They had been rivals for a very long time, so Elizabeth just ignoring her didn't exactly surprise or annoy Melanie.

Melanie watched as a boy about her age walked towards them. She had seen him around the halls and the common room. He was handsome and he was wealthy, and it confused Melanie why she hadn't gone for him before. Yet, as he walked over, he completely ignored her, speaking only to Julia. Clearly, the two were a bit more than friends. Melanie wasn't exactly the most sensitive of people, but being ignored was not someone she was used to. And she glared at the boy as he asked Julia to dance with him, who clearly was keen to do so.

Andrian felt slightly embarassed about confusing them to be going out together to being cousins. "Oh, my apologies. I didn't know," he laughed and looked over to Landon with a cute, devilish grin on his face; chuckling slightly when he heard that Landon saw her upset about the Valentines Dance and felt sorry for her so took her to the dance. "Aw, how nice of him," he said, smiling warmly at them. "Hey, Landon. Always a pleasure to meet Sophia family member, she've told me a lot about you," he said after being introduced by Sophia, holding out a hand in front of him waiting to shake his hand. "Mind, if I take you out for one quick dance?" he asked Sophia.

Abbey Dawn wrote:Abbey was sitting chatting with Gar and his friend when she noticed someone who looked familiar enter the ball. Abbey peered closer, not being able to get a full on view of who it was because of the dark lighting. She stood up and started walking towards the figure. Finally, Abbey got a view of who it was...."Christy!?" she screamed. Abbey ran over and enveloped her sister in a huge hug. "Where have you been!? I've been so worried!" she cried.

Christy smiled at the greeting that Abbey had given her. It had been a while since she had seen either of her sisters and it was true that she had missed them. "You deep down should know that answer." she said suddenly sadly. This was Godric's least favorite holiday and also the first time in years she hadn't heard him call it by his favorite name for it.

Still, she shook it off, "I know I should have at least wrote to you. Mutti wasn't too worried was she?" she asked curiously.

Since Miseria didn't talk to anyone since the beginning, she finally saw some familiar figures. And oh! There was Garulia with Abbey and Emily! She smiled softly at them, and walked there. When she saw Christabelle, Miseria's eyes widened. They have been talking with each other at the beginning of the schoolyear, and Miseria could tell, that they could've become friends, but then the Ravenclaw had suddenly disapeared somewhere!
"Hey, Christy! Garulia, Abbey, Emily..." she greeted, nodding to them.
