Welcome to Potter's Army

We have been a Harry Potter Roleplaying site since 2007. If you're an old member we hope you come check out the discord link provided below. And if you're looking for a new roleplaying site, well, we're a little inactive. But every once and a while nostalgia sets in and a few of our alumni members will revisit the old stomping grounds and post together. Remember to stay safe out there. And please feel free to drop a line whenever!

What’s Happening?
Since every few months or so a few of our old members get the inspiration to revisit their old stomping grounds we have decided to keep PA open as a place to revisit old threads and start new ones devoid of any serious overarching plot or setting. Take this time to start any of those really weird threads you never got to make with old friends and make them now! Just remember to come say hello in the chatbox below or in the discord. Links have been provided in the "Comings and Goings" forum as well as the welcome widget above.

"Just to party," Garulia said, then took both her hands and started dancing with her. "And of course, actually DANCING, you know, being true to the name."

"Well, neither have I," Garulia said. "But backflips I can do." He grabbed her tight around the middle and did a backflip with her. "And spinnys and flippys and the ultimate fighting style the FLIPPY FLIPPY KICK KICK."
At this he doubled over from laughter.

Garulia smiled at her happily. He popped his fingers and settled into a chair, pulling Emily into a chair next to him.
"So, was my back flip fun?" he asked laughing still harder.

Abbey couldn't believe how late she had allowed herself to be! She quickly ran into the hallway where the dance was being held. She glanced at her watch and sighed. 'Oh well,' she thought. At least I'm here.' Abbey looked over each of the doors, and finally found the one where the dance was being held. Loud music and the chatter of hundreds of people spewed out from the doorway. She could say the beautiful decorations that had been strung all around the rafters and on the tables. Abbey tried to make herself feel better as she entered the dance. Maybe she would find someone she knew...

Garulia was leaning back to take a drink of punch when he saw Abbey.
"Hey Abs!" he shouted to her. "Over here! Sit with us!"
Finally, some people he knew were coming.

Abbey was just about to go check out what food they were serving, when she noticed Gar smiling and waving towards her. Abbey was so glad that she knew someone! She scurried over, almost tripping over a couple dancing. She mumbled an apology, wondering how she could be so clumsy when she wasn't even wearing heels. Abbey finally arrived at Gar's table. She took a seat and looked over at the other girl who was sitting there. "Hi, my name's Abbey Dawn!" she said, introducing herself. "What's yours?"

Valentines Day Dance! - Page 7 Empty Re: Valentines Day Dance!

Post by Sophia Granger Mon Feb 15, 2010 4:12 am

Landon Rooney wrote:Landon chortled at Sophia's comment. "Couldn't agree with you more," he murmured in her ear, "I wish I was [i]anywhere[/ii] rather than here." From what he knew of his cousin, she was just as uncomfortable here as he was. She wasn't exactly a fan of the commercialized Valentine's day either. After rolling his eyes at her remark he retorted, "I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one here who has something against this holiday. What brought you here?" Protective instinct took over, a family sort of thing. "Do you have a date?" His left eyebrow shot up suspiciously. Anyone who dated in his family had to pass an inspection...his inspection. Especially for Sophia whom he was rather attached to despite their bickering.

Sophia had always been someone who could make him laugh and her next comment made him do so. "Believe me, single girls at a Valentine's dance aren't what I'm after. Too clingy," he added with a wink, of course only joking. His cousin probably knew him better than most, knowing that he was more than just a little too indifferent to go after girls. This was perhaps the principal reason that he had never dated a girl. When he looked back over at Sophia, she seemed to not be having all that great of a time. Landon pursed his lips as he tried to think of some way to cheer her up. He hated seeing her in a funk. In a formal manner, which he overexaggerated for a humorous effect, he extended his arm towards her, "Care to dance?" It really wasn't all that odd. A brother and sister might be kind of strange but cousins? Nothing weird about it in his opinion.

Sophia nodded. "Ugh... I know, I mean what's so special about this stupid holiday?"Sophia asked him as she wrinkled her nose in disgust a a couple making out. "Get a room will you? we don't want to see that!"Sophia as they glared at her. When he asked what brought her here she smirked. "There's after party that Julia one of my best friend is planning and I'm going, your more and welcome to come if you like."said Sophia. Sophia laughed and looked at him knowing he was very protective of her and had to pass his inspection. "No, I don't just so you know so no need to worry."said Sophia smiling. Sophia laughed when he said he wasn't after single girl and they were to clingy.

"True, we are clingy but I have to stay men can be the same way."said Sophia smirking and laughing. When he asked her to dance she smiled. "Of course."said Sophia taking hi hand not thinking dancinbg as cousins was odd or weird. As a matter of fact, Sophia thought it was more normal then brothers and sisters dancing now that was odd and weird. "So when did you tart becoming like this?"Sophia asked him joking around with him. Sophia knew her cousin just as well as he knew her which was very well and knew he could be like this if he wanted to. "I'm sure some girl would like your charming caring ways although they might like your bad side better."said Sophia teasing him. That was the thing with Landon and her they were always having fun and teasing each other, every now and then they would fight and bicker but that was what cousins do right?
