Valentines Day Dance!

"You deep down should know that answer." she said suddenly sadly. This was Godric's least favorite holiday and also the first time in years she hadn't heard him call it by his favorite name for it.

Still, she shook it off, "I know I should have at least wrote to you. Mutti wasn't too worried was she?" she asked curiously.

Abbey shook her head. "Mutti knew where you were." Abbey smiled, trying to cheer up; it was Valentine's Day, and she should enjoy it.

Miseria walked over and greeted her and Christy. "Hey Mis!" she said happily. "How have you been lately?I haven't seen you around except for Quidditch practice." Abbey asked.

Christabelle looked around, "You haven't seen Oded have you?" she asked hoping she could spot him here. She really wanted him around today because she had missed him. "Oh thats right you haven't met him yet have you Abbs?" she said realizing how silly she was being. "And she knew what I was doing but not where I was."

"Sure why not, sir."said Sophia softly as she gave him a soft warm smile and took his hand. "I'll be right back Andrian, I will dance with you but I can't say no to this nice kind man."said Sophia softly. "Oh so rude of me, I'm Sophia Granger."said Sophia introducing herself. Sophia had seen him around Hogwarts but never met him face to face. "So, how are you enjoying the dance?"ophia asked him softly as her soft warm honey eye sparkled at him.

Gibbs smiled, "Hello Sophia, I'm Leroy but everyone calls me Gibbs..." he said taking her hand and leading her on to the dance floor. "Yes I am enjoying this dance actually...which is different for a reason I can't seem to think of..." he said. "Usually I stand in the corner at dances like this, but there seems to be something different about this one..." he said smiling at her. "But what about you? Your a student at...Hogwarts right?" he asked.

Sophia smiled. "Ok Gibbs it is, feel free to call me Soph or Sophi everyone call me thataround here."said Sophia laughing. Sophia nodded when he aid this dance was diferent. "Yes indeed, very different although I can't put my finger on it."said Sophia softly. When he asked her if she was enjoying the dance she nodded. "Yes I am Gibbs, even though I'm now single I already gotten asked to by three guys tonight."said Sophia smiling. Sophia nodded when he asked if she was a Hogwarts student. "Yes I am, I'm a Gryffindor seventh year."said Sophia softly.

((Cracking on is sorta the same as flirting, more coloquial though.))

Jess looked around then gave a shrug. "Care for some more drink?" he asked, grabbing another glass of chamagne for her.

Well well well, this was interesting. There seemed to be something about this woman, something... different, something he couldn't put his finger on anyway, so he decided not to try.

"Sure," he said with a smile, making a curteous gesture to the dance floor. 'This should be fun," he thought, deciding that tonight would be a night to let loose, "After you," he said, making the gesture once more

Matt had walked back into the dance after freaking out on Rob and his button jacket had come undone. He straightened up and looked around. Sophia was dancing with Robs sister, Jess seemed to be enjoying some time with...oh wait it wasn't Mari. It was that Remy chick, then he felt a pain. Everyone seemed to be with someone, and Matt was all alone. His heart was burning, it was like ten feet under the depths of hell. He had become very very depressed and he pulled out a chair and turned it around so he was facing the dance floor.

He sighed, he missed Emmy and all he really wanted to do was do something violent. But he can't do anything in public. He glanced up and Jess and grinned, was Jess gonna get some? He wondered and sighed, nah he had heard of this Remy person. She was power hungry apparently, but Matt sighed and turned his chair back around. He moved across the dance floor making sure he mouthed "Nice" to Jess and gave him a thumbs up. He grabbed a glass of wine and sighed, they REALLY needed something stronger at that table.

Scorpius glared at Elijah as he came up to Julia and him. He realized he should have probably treated Julia better, but he just got nervous around her. As for Melanie, he had never known how to deal with her, but he was angry at her, a lot. She was purposefully ruining his night, and he wasn't going to let her get away with that without saying anything. As Elijah asked him if he could dance with Julia, Scorpius looked towards Julia, who was obviously quite keen, and shrugged. It wasn't like it was his decision to let her go or not, and if she wanted to, he couldn't and wouldn't stop her. "Sure, go ahead," he muttered, turning away from them. He had always liked Elijah, before this point anyways. He was confused on one thing though, if Julia liked Elijah, why would she come with Scorpius to the dance? It didn't make sense. It did put him in a rather bad mood, though he tried not to make it show. He just glared at Melanie, clearly very angry with her.

Julia nodded and went off with Elijah. She could tell that Scorpius was upset, she wasn't sure if it was with her. She felt horrible, and now she felt like she was treating him badly, and she wanted to just turn around and sit back at the table, but she couldn't do that. She held on to Elijah's arm, looking down at her feet as she walked. Julia turned her head around again and looked at Scorpius, who looked very angry and upset. She then regretted looking back at him because she felt even worse. She didn't want to hurt him at all, it was just the fact that he payed no attention to her since she arrived.

As soon as they arrived on the dance floor she faced Elijah and looked up at him. Either she was abnormally short, or he was just too tall. "You know that I have absolutely no idea how to dance, right?" She mumbled. Julia always liked to think that she had two right feet, because she was never on balance. She was very clumsy and didn't pay as much attention as she should have to it.

"I feel so horrible now, he looks really upset" She looked over at him again. Maybe Scorpius thought that Julia liked Elijah in the "more-than-friends" way - which was definitely not true. Elijah and Julia were best friends, and she would never treat him in an actual way like that. She intended on telling Scorpius the way she felt about him, but she wasn't too sure now, it seemed that she had more explaining to do now. But if everything worked out right, she would tell him everything.

Elizabeth sat there rather awkwardly throughout the whole mess. Melanie was still being more than desperate in her attempts to leave Julia out of the conversation while now Julia had someone asking her to dance. The Ravenclaw recognized him as Elijah Krum but apart from his face and name, she knew little of him. When Julia accepted his invitation to dance, Elizabeth squirmed a little in her seat. This was getting more awkward for her by the second. Now she was stuck with Melanie, whom she was hardly happy with at the moment, and Scorpius who wasn't exactly in a good situation himself. Should she stay and try to make sure Melanie didn't stick her claws in him? Or would he want that at this point? Excusing herself from the table, Elizabeth asked, "I'm going to go get myself another drink, you want anything?" she asked Scorpius, directly avoiding asking Melanie the same question.

Abbey looked around for a sign of this mystery person Christy was talking about. "What does he look like?" she questioned. "If you tell me that I may be able to spot him for you."
