Robert removed the spell from himself and called to her softly and moved forward to her. He knelt beside her. "Well done, my dear," he soothed her, brushing her hair softly. "Well done, indeed. That is any offspring of Albus would do. He would be proud of you. You faced your greatest fear head on--and you defeated it. You won. Superb job. Now come. On your feet. Khaat would never forgive me if I left you sitting here on the floor. " He stood and helped her up slowly and gently.
His healing skills told him that her strength was fast returning to her and at levels she had not felt for months. He was glad to see it. It would, no doubt, leave her a bit disoriented and confused as she began to try to figure out why she had been so numb and frightened, almost like waking finally from a bad dream left to its own devices too long. He replaced her back in bed, covered her, and sat with her. "Your energies are returning. Just let it happen naturally. You may find that within an hour or so, you will feel like a whole new person--or at least a person you haven't been in a very long time. That may, actually, help you to be able to handle your pregnancy a lot better, maybe even attend your own wedding, a lot of things you have wanted to do. And, no doubt, you will be safer in delivering your children.
" I am sorry I allowed him through to you, but it was the only way I could help you to end this nightmare for yourself and your children and your husband before it put your and your babies very lives at risk. Forgive me, my dear. Just so you know, you were never alone. I was here, and I would not have let him harm a hair on your head if it had come to that. But I knew you--I knew that Dumbledore strength you had would come forth and you would prevail. So you know--you were never, ever at risk here and neither were your children. I am so sorry I let him frighten you, though." He kissed her forehead softly. "You were brilliant."
